Moss Bluff Apartments or Homes for Rent

Hello, I'm a recent LSU grad and I'm moving to Lake Charles for a job. I've heard that Moss Bluff is quieter and more safe than Lake Charles. I can't seem to find a lot of apartments or home listings for rent. Is there a good place to look? A newspaper or community website that I haven't found or does anyone know of any place in particular? As I mentioned, I'm a recent grad so I do have student loans and credit card debit that I pay monthly on and I'm trying to save up as much as possible. Therefore, my max rent is somewhere around $900. I'm hoping I can find a place with a washer and dryer since I don't own one but as long as there are connections I can swing something. Also, I have a 4 year old female cat (spayed). I've noticed that a lot of the Lake Charles apartments ask for a quite a lot for their pet deposit which is quite annoying. Please let me know if you know of any rentals that are available or may be available around March. Or should I just stick to Lake Charles? If so, where should I be looking?

Go to American Press's website and click on classifieds. I have rented just recently in Moss Bluff and my rent was $500/month, so you should be able to find something around $500. Moss Bluff is a whole lot safer and quieter than Lake Charles. Good Luck!
