This is one reason I left Wells Fargo...the don't play fair. Even when it's my money I felt like it was there's on loan to me. Like it was some damn privilage to bank with them. They charged more and work for you less when dealing with money through a third party. I don't know if they still are (been years since I left them) but they would charge more fee's for everything than any other bank. Hell they had fee's when other banks didn't. Hell I think Wells Fargo even made up a lot of the fee's we pay today nationwide at other banks too. When rates suck how do you make money? FEES!!!!!

they should allow the wells deal to go through...its better for the shareholders of wachovia and probably better for its employees here since they have no east coast presence.....the citi merger would undoubtedly cause more layoffs since they are already on the east coast....plus the taxholders wont get stuck....funny how a government agency ..the fdic will try to ram the citi deal down our throats....

wells fargo has always held my business accounts and I have never had a problem with them...Bank of America has my personal accounts and they suck! I guess the bottom line is all banks treat you like trash if its your personal account.
as for the sale,$7 a share without putting it on my tab is ok ( i still pay part of the cost due to the bailout insurance, but its much better for me)

Neither Citi or WF is that great, but Citi is way ahead of WF. Friends had a mortgage with WF and they didn't pay the taxes from the escrow account. Then told them it was their problem, not WF's. Citi is getting a loan, WF is looking at Wachovia as a way to get a BIG tax deduction!!!!

I sold my Citigroup stock two years ago, just before they dropped. their management has always been incompetent and they would have screwed this up anyway.
