I heard a figure a few days ago about what Citi wanted to let Wells Fargo have Wachovia...$60 billion in damages. Right. That's nearly 1/10th of the bailout money.(And all Citi wanted of Wachovia was its checking account services...not the rest, per insiders. Tsk, tsk.) Whiners! Didn't Citi sell part of its debt to an Arab sheikdom? Hmmm?
