A man in Denver area committed suicide a few weeks ago while he was awaiting trial in Greene County, NC (his hometown). This man had mounds and mounds of evidence stacked against him and was indicted on 4 counts; 2 counts of indecent liberties with a child, 1 count of 1st degree sexual offense with a child, and 1 count of 1st degree rape of a child. This man took the easy way out. He was guilty. I know they say innocent until proven guilty but he has been allowed to walk the streets and live in your town, work in your town (for the Govt) might I add; all awaiting trial. In 2005, he was charged with only 1 offense. It wasn't until he was indicted by the Grand Jury in 2007, that the G. J. found more evidence to try him. I am writing on behalf of a little girl who needs justice. She was 4 yrs old when this first happened and she reported it. No one, even her own mother didn't believe her. Poor child. This woman went as far as to take her over to his house and drop her off for days on end when he was being investigated and told not to but she did. So, this man was still able to molest her and do whatever he wanted to. This man is not innocent, and neither is the little girl now. He took that all away from her. She is scarred for life. She just wants justice. I know you think he's dead and that's justice enough. It's not for her. She wanted her day in court to tell everyone what he did. Imagine your own mother not believing you? This man's family thinks he committed suicide due to the fact that he was overwhelmed by court dates, etc. Well, he drug this through the court system for so many years; it's his fault. I hope you all watch over your children. You never know if a child molester is out on bond walking the streets of your town!!
