Then one day, completely without warning, Godzilla arose from the depths and blew his scalding breath on everything in his path. A phalanx of Warriors mobilized to attack the monster, only to be crushed like so many toy tanks under Godzilla’s mighty feet. Godzilla soon reduced the forum to searing and consuming flames. Just as abruptly, he rumbled back beneath the waves, leaving all to tremble in fear of his return. Net life would never be the same. Sadly, many netizens who survive a Godzilla attack will become Xenophobes.

Okay. This is what I would suggest doing first.

Go to this site, http://proxy.org/ ---look to the right of the page and then type in the address of the site you wish to visit- or copy and paste the link to the site you're being blocked from.

Now, granted, that's a pretty elementary way of doing it. You IT guy may have that site blocked as well. If so, there are other ways around it.

Let me know if that works. If not, we can try something else.

I was able to pull the proxy site up, but when I copied and pasted, it just popped up different web sites. So, either I'm dumb, it's not working, or both.

I'm not the most internet savvy person in the world I must tell you.

I don't know Danni, it didn't work for that particular site...however, it did work on a couple other sites that I know are usually blocked.

I have never seen a hidden thread before.
I think they decided not to delete it because only a few people were posting their insults back and forth. They hid it to keep it from getting anymore public than it already was. Not many people had it saved to favorites. I just happened to do it to save time from searching.

They've hidden threads before. Not sure what makes them make the decision to do so, but it happens from time to time.
