Donovan Young arrested for tampering in Carrollton homicide

Ernesto Reyes, 20, of Denton Carrollton police arrested Donovan R. Young on charges related to slaying of Melanie Goodwin around 7:30 p.m. Thursday, according to police reports.

These 2 guys are rapper thugs. Last I read he was probably in Mexico. Another reason to shut the border down. Many of these illegals have criminal records and/or criminal activity in Mexico. They run here in Denton like free.

Reyes is in the Dallas Co jail awaiting trial. Not sure where Young is. He had a hearing scheduled for 8/12 and did not appear.

Any updates? Have you heard anything about Donovan Young since his arrest? I can't find anything on the net.

How was he in school? Last I saw him he was 16 and acting like he was on drugs. I have wondered what had become of him, and not really surprised when I saw that he had been arrested. His brothers seemed to be okay, but he was always acting like a troublemaker and disrespectful. I took it that he was influenced by his connection with his Cedar Hill relatives, and was running in the wrong crowd.

Reyes has been convicted and is now going to spend the rest of his life in prison being brutally rammed up the ass and tortured every waking hour - and hopefully that's just putting it mildly

Hopefully, this pig will soon see his day in court. He should receive the full 10 years (if that's truly the maximum) for not helping Melanie when he saw her in the backseat, for not calling the police, for aiding Reyes in burning her body and for helping Reyes destroy her car. He is no better than Ernesto Reyes and should pay dearly for what he has done. He too is trash, something his sorry parents should be ashamed of.

I don't know him personally; however, I do know the facts of this case. If you attended both trials you also would know. If you know him, then you know that he said he was not scared, just said she was already dead. He then gave him gas money and the can to put it in, then simply went back up to bed. He had no problem sleeping. He said he sits around smoking pot, games for entertainment. He said that's what he and his apt. friends do, after working at his mall job. He's been picked up, more than once, on drug charges. After crying like a baby, never do it again, was picked up shortly for drugs again right before his trial. There are many worthless thugs in this world and he is one of them. He's a follower, according to psychologists that interviewed him. He doesn't have the self worth, ambition, common decency nor pride, as many of you, to make something of himself. He is perfectly content with working a minimum wage, kiosk mall job, get his weekly small check, then smoke it up. How's he paying for the new baby? Probably isn't. I do know him; therefore, I do judge him. He deserves much more than the 20 years he should have received.

i knew donovan.. he was a good person and very kind. quiet and respectfull. He made a big mistake, and now he's payin for it.. I advise yall STFU and quick makin asumptions on people you dont even know..
