The manager at Moonlight Light Inn ,took away two of the kids driver's license. Drinking and driving will kill.

She shouldn't have let them drive. By LAW she is required to call the police and report them. But she was happy to collect their money and have them tipping her bartenders!

i agree that something should be done about carding, but the blame isnt solely on the bartender. The kids were drinking. there is a reason that the legal age is 21. Hopefully most 21 yr olds have a better sense of intelligence than go out, get hammered, drive home. Yea i drink, i get drunk. I dont drive home if i know im impaired. Blame the parents too, blame the ones in the truck, blame the bartender. Blame them all. But make sure you people realize, blaming the bartender does NOT justify their deaths. And further more, the dumbest thing i have ever heard, was kids partying and getting hammered in remembrance of their lost friends. I swear i have never seen so many dumbasses in my life.I just had 2 former friends and someone i didnt know get in a wreck, Brandon Madere died. Sean Harris, the one driving is in jail. The third party, im not sure on his last name, Landon(?), died as well. And i reiterate, DUMBASSES.

My son and daughter-in-law was the first on the scene of this accident. As it turns out we all knew Brandon Madere. This is such a tragic loss that could have been avoided; had someone been responsibile enough to say "NO". When are people going to wake up and realize drinking & driving does not mix! Now with so many lives shattered and yet there will be others who do the same. Please be responsibile and just say "NO".
My prayers go out to these famlies who have lost so much. May GOD comfort you in your time of sorrow.

Ok well who the hell do you think you are calling those boys dumbasses?! Obviously you didn't even know them so what made you think that you had the right to comment on their death and give your opinion about it? They were a great group of guys and loved by many many people...they will be missed every day!! Even though they may have made bad decisions they were the last people that deserved to die!! Teenagers are going to be teenagers and don't even start about 21 year olds being smarter than drinking and driving because trust me there have been plenty of them making the same decisions!! And yes there is a reason the legal drinking age is 21 and there is a reason there are supposed to be people at the door checking ids and there is a reason the bartender is supposed to be checking ids!! So you are the dumbass..don't ever EVER comment on something or someone that you know nothing about!! Those four boys were taken so drastically out of their friends and families lives and no one asked for that...so how dare you blame their parents when they have to mourn the loss of their children!! Whenever you go through something like that then you can come put your two cents in ok?!

SOMEGUY??? yea keep anonymous, because your DUMBASS apparently doesn't know shit about any of these boys, or their way of life. Partying in remembrance of them..stupid? Maybe thats just exactly what they would have done if it was their friends and not them. How about since you don't know what th hell your talking about, you keep your damn opinion to your self!

Here is my two cents since my family has lost a daughter/sister in a wreck. The bartender is only partially to blame. Society is also. Parents not keeping track of kids, kids not having the willpower to not drink, people of all ages not realizing the devastation drinking and driving brings to families UNTIL it happens to them. Everyone is to blame but NO ONE wants to admit the blame!! Oh and let me tell you..partying it up to celebrate the kids life and then turning around and drinking is a slap in the face to the families who just lost their children in the wreck..JUST ASK THE FAMILY since your so close to them. Go tell them..hey I want to celebrate your sons life by having a party and getting drunk then leaving the party. It's ok because I am celebrating your son who died in a car full of drunk teenagers.

People assume that if you don't have their sane opinion then you must not know the situation. THAT'S CRAP.

Its in gods hands now. My prayers are going out to the families of these boys. All of them were my friends through school. And its sad to see so many of us teenagers drinking and driving, we never think it will happen to us, but thats just what they thought. Its not a question about whos fought it was, its about the boys, and their families the way they are now dealing with this tragic loss. And if your going to talk shit about people expecially people who have passed away, dont hide your name, come out and show that your a man and have a bullshit opinion to speak of.

someone obiously didnt know our boys too well. we celebrate the life they had! we do not only remember their deaths! and yea 3 of our other friends got in a wreck and 2 died but they ARE NOT stupid things happend to people. u are beyond rediculous if you think its ok to say those things peopel still mourn our boys everyday..You dont live here. it doesnt hurt you everyday to wake up and know that they arent going to be there you probably dont drive by where they died everyday do you!? aaron was my Very close friend. our parents are friends.and i cant even go visit them with my mom without crying. its not something that u get over so SHUT YOUR MOUTH! oh and yes please blame the parents who have lost a part of themselves. and they werent dumb they were ALL smart people just make bad choices wich im sure ur have because posting all of the was a HUGE one!! u have absolutely no right to write those things. and as for my madere he was a great guy! a wonerful friend and will be GREATLY missed as well as landon!this is a bad time for our graduating class and our town. and i do agree its wrong to drink and drive, but we are teenagers and we are going to do it. theres not always going to be a d.d. around. i bet you drank and drove when you were our ages. so dont be so freaking hypocritical.! we miss our boys; all of them! Brandon Pirie, logan millet, trey roberston, AARON HARRIS,Brandon Madere, and Landon Carney! May all of you boys rest in Peace and protect us all.

Teenagers and Alcohol. Let me tell you just part of what his mother and I am going thru, and think about these really long and hard.
Two possible acts at the party may have prevented this tragedy.
1-Someone taking the keys from Sean Harris
2-Brandon and Landon making a better decision on a ride home. We have always spoke with Brandon about calling home at any time for a ride. Brandon's death was senseless.
1-The memory of the 2 Livingston Parish Deputies knocking on your door at 3:30 a.m. and telling you your son has been killed in a car wreck and will not be coming home. Remember Brandon was only 17.
2-Waiting three days for an autopsy to be completed, before you can make funeral arrangements.
3-How about this mother and I walking thru a cemetary to pick out a final resting place for your son Brandon.
4-How about how his mother and I felt going to the mall and selecting an outfit not for him to go out and have a good time but to be buried in.
5-How our lives, his brother Joseph, family and friends will be changed forever.
6-Sit down at the computer and write out an obituary for your 17 year old son.
7-Most of all, visiting the accident scene and replaying in your mind the events of that tragic November night.
8-Seeing the looks of grief on everyone's face at the wake and the funeral.
9-Having to tell the story countless times.
I have more, we will post as we go along.
Brandon "Madere" we miss you and will never forget you. Love Mom, Dad and Joseph

This is my younger cousin and I just got news of this late this afternoon and I was totally in shock. I have not seen Brandon in some time but can remember babysitting him and watching him turn into the young man that he was. This is such a tragic loss for our family to see someone go that is so young and had his whole life ahead of him. He will be deeply missed, yes there are so many factors that could have changed this outcome but we can't harp on them now all I know is that our family has lost a vibrant and wonderful boy and there won't be a day that goes by that he won't be missed. He is with his maker now and in a place of peace waiting for the day we can all meet again. Love you Brandon!!
