I know that it takes two people to make that decision to commit adultery but I think if she could hear a daughters heart on how her relationship with my father is destroying the family I love so much she might call it off. And also to let her know that why does she think my father will remain faithful to her? She is not the first person that my father has done this with? If he will repeatidly cheat on my mother then dont you think he will on her too? I can give her credit because off all the past relationships, she is the only one who has had such a detrimental affect on my parents. You know, I love my parents, I really do and this breaks my heart, but what really hurts the most is how it is affecting my 14 year old brother. My brother use to be such a sweet kid. Now, he curses my mother out, hits her and tells her she is a B****. Yeah, she is an alcholic, but she is our mother and she gave us life. My brother has lost all respect for her because my father has lost all respect for her. He feels he can treat her poorly because of the example my father sets. My dad wont call off the relationship with this woman. He values their "friendship" as he calls it; however, if I could talk to her and shed some more light on some things she might see how this is destroying a family that use to be pretty close. My sister and father no longer talk, thus causing him to miss out on seeing his grandchildren, my brother blaims my mother and I have tried to be neutral but am finding that it is no longer possible. So please, I just want to talk to her. I dont hate her, I dont want to cuss her out, just plea my point and let her know that not only is adultery wrong it is wrong for a reason. It destroys lives and ruins relatonships. Maybe she can cut the relationship off and have a chance to right the wrong that has been done.

I just want to tell my father that this was not intended to hurt him only to try and resolve a situation. I posted this during the time I was mad at him and the posting is very one sided. Although my parents have made many mistakes, both of them, my mother as well, they were and are good parents to me. I love you Dad and I am sorry if I hurt you. That was not my intention. I just wanted to talk to her to see if she would end the relationship because I thought if she was out of your life things would go back to normal. I just want my family back. I hate all of this and my heart just hurts, but it hurts even more now knowing that you are upset with me. I am sorry.

wow, this is sad. Don't know who you are but if your dad has a history of cheating, it will continue regardless if this women ends the realationship or not. Your mom needs to divorce him, sober up, and move on with her life. Best of luck to you all!
