Punkyville is a labor of love by the fellow who lived right there. He started collecting and it grew into Punkyville. It's not a commercial thing but just one of those hobbies that went crazy. The local school kids will visit there from time to time but I don't think there are any commercial plans for it right now.

Punkyville was created by a guy (they called him "Punky" in school) who is obsessed with himself and decided to create his own little town. He ran for mayor of Falmouth one year, but didn't win. I think Mitch above me got it right, it was just a hobby that went crazy... he's super controlling and thinks everyone should listen to his opinion.

Geez people, don't we have anything nice to say? Punky is a very nice man who happens to have a hobby that he likes and enjoys. Out of Towner, I'm sure if you stop by he would give you a tour of the lil town and give you some history on it. If people would take the time to just look, they would see that there is a sort of history within his lil ole town. How many people actually remember Weavers Feed and Supply?

As a former resident who grew up in the area, I remember Weaver's Feed Store. That's when the time in that little town was really o.k.
As for the history of Falmouth, there are some who do remember -- just wish it could be as simple as it was then, might move back there if that was so. As far as 'Punkyville.' That man game from very modest roots and has earned his money to build his own 'little town.' Really when you think about it, what else could a 'kid' want than to have their own little town to play in. Keep playing Punky

Punky was always great to me. I lost my mom at a very early age. I was friends with one of their daughters and Punky and his wife were great to me. They helped me throught the roughest time of my life. Thanks Punky!!
