Jeeze. I have never heard of corrupt officials before.
Arresting them must be a first. Now all you feds need to head to the new city haul and county building. I bet you could fill up your jail with corrupt officials and employees in those two buildings.

How many now can say "I told you so". I can think of several.

I bet if the Feds keep looking, they will continue to find.
Anyone who is shocked by this is no doubt legally blind.
This problem has been on going for quite some time, Why have we not had this brought out by local electees? They had no idea...right?

Hopefully the voters will remember all these events when elections once again roll around.

This statement includes the local District Attorney's office ; which was given many opportunities to look into corruption during the Citizens Grand Jury. Instead they opted to use cover up and sleight of hand to mislead the Jury.

For quite sometime I've seen comments on this Forum about the Columbus officials being corrupt, as well as our own right here in Deming, and now it's all caught up with them, or at least for the ones in Columbus. Maybe ours is next, who knows. Kudos to the federal agents.......so what took so long ? Wonder how long our own law enforcement officials in Deming knew about these corrupt people ? Will you be next ?

If they are convicted, than they need to be given the maximum sentence because, they were in a position of power. How did the citizens of Columbus vote all of these people in without knowing what they were involved in? Columbus is a village; a few people had to know what was going on before they elected theses alleged corrupt officials.

Ha! As IF this is a big surprise! I'm sure we'd ALL be surprised at just how involved many law enforcement types and politicians are in the illegal drug trade.

Congats Angelo you scrot bag!! You day has come once again. You and your cronies are a disgrace to all in law enforcement. Hopefully you will get a little taste of justice. Too bad that you didn't listen to reason and stay out of the business all together. Not one decent cop in this area thinks you are worth anything. You have done untold damage to our profession. Hopefully you will be given a healthy dose of justice. If you continue in your evil ways, people will be watching. I will be one of them. One way or another, you will toe the line or you will be forced out from the area. Your days of reign are over my little imbecile friend.
