If the lottery is not funding the scholarship program then it should be reduce or abolished, at least until people are more interested in purchasing tickets. This should not be funded by taxes. The reason New Mexico has lost interest in the lottery is no one has ever won a big one. When that happens everybody will be buying ticket like before. Again should not be funded with tax money.
