Sounds like the mother egging these kids on is part of your problem too. Do you have a homeowners association there? First start by getting rid of the low life Mom and her kid.

I agree with DDI put big time pressure on the county council and School Board. Get all the neighbors in your subdivisdion to their next meeting, raise hell! Busting them on the deputy wont change or help things.

Like any area you have a bad area and Deltona has that. I can say I have lived here for almost 20 years and never had my house or cars broke into. I think people forget how big Deltona is and how many people live here. We also have orange city Debary and osteen attending our schools. So I don't think Deltona is just the problem. Orange city is very know for drugs. With all the new schools opening that will help with some of the overcrowing, so if you ask me where I live I live in Deltona Fl. Maybe it is not the best but it is my home.

WTF Gang activity in Deltona? Are you kidding me? I think people have gang activity confused with upper middle class teenagers choice of clothing. WTF I live in Deltona in Arbor ridge and Im sure people think that Im part of a gan by the way I dress peeple need to chill the hell out there are no flippen gangs in DELTONA fl are you kidding me?

This is the same attitude I had when people started talking about gang activity in my little community. I felt the same way you did. It wasn't until a kid was shot, and luckily not killed that I started believing what I read in the paper. The shooting happened up the street form where I live. These gangbangers start off as wannabees and end up killing innocent people. Gangs are glamorized and kids now a days think it's cool to belong to one.
