I suppose that might have been just chance, though. Worked there when the Marks ran it. Those were the days of the three hour waits. And let's not forget the christmas parties.

Met Wilt when I was 12 in 1968 when my father drove with Winnipeg Manitoba to Chicago for a surprise Christmas present for me. Met the Big Dipper again at age 19 when living in Beverly Hills. During own career - never made it past university ball - wore No. 13 and even have it tattoed on shoulder. What happened to all the collectables from Wilt's Restauraunt? Would love to get hands on some of it. Visited Wilt's in Boca Raton twice when down Florida way at in-laws snowbird house in Pompano Beach. Spent $300 on items and manager thought I was a crazy fan. Feel free to e-mail me at cjphillips@shaw.ca if have ino

Wow, just found out it closed as i sit online researching restaurant design. I worked there "part-time" for 6 years... through the great years of the '90s.I agree..once the "new" owners came in, everything started to change. Though, tenants and landlords (the landlord, i believe was one of the original Wilts investors - all were local, frequenting Boca folk) should work out their messes. Unfortunately, owners sometimes feel it is better to just stop than have to address workers, patrons in person. Sad to see it go. Yet I agree.. maybe better off. I had such such great fun there though. Still have friends from it.

somehow i ended up in San Fran. Not where I am. Weird. Glad to see all the comments. Reading them brings back memories.. and yeah, I agree with everyone who says that all restaurants have crap etc.. we did work there cause we "needed" money.. yet there are soooooo many restaurants. it was seriously just a great time for me because it was an outlet of fun. i didnt really need the money so i stayed happy. weird.
best of luck to brent and nora. i worked with them as they started as waiters. i was there before them.

My daughter ended up in the emergency room form a sharp corner of a game. No one even checked to see if she was ok. They deserve to be closed. It was not safe for kids.

I am trying to imagine the corner of this game jumping out and striking your child. Everyting in Your house has corners, that can injure a child. Maybe you should not rely on others to protect your child. Maybe the game was dangerous. But if the parent was supervising more closely, maybe you would have noticed this situation. And made the manager aware. You probably used Wilts Game Room for a free babysitter, while You had Apple martinis at the bar. And then drove home drunk with the kids fastened safely in their car seats. I used to work at Wilts. And when your bratty kids ran through the restaurant screaming like lil boca bastards that they are, I would stick my foot out and trip them. Ha ha. Take that boca moms. MALAKA BILLY IN THE HOUSE. A great place to pick up women: In 1991, Chamberlain wrote his second autobiography, A View from Above. There, the lifelong bachelor Chamberlain claimed he had sex with 20,000 women. For this to be true, he would have had to had sex with 1.14 women per day from the age of 15 up until the day of his death, a rate of almost eight women a week.

I love that place and miss Angie,Tanya,MEL,and all the staff your the best. I also watched football there and it was great miss it. I often think of putting some money back into that place and re opening it.
PS The Mic in the bar area up in the rafters was not real. Thanks for the fun times to all its not the same anymore.
