My question????????

Is there music of this caliber and beauty being created today?

Is it a generational thing?????

This song is almost 40 years old and still sounds fresh. It could be played at any event without being offense or disgusting. There would be the people who maybe don't care the particular song but it is one that has terrific musical arrangements and vocal harmonies.

George Martin of Beatles fame was the producer of the album that contained this wonderful song.

People today don't know the difference between entertainers and musicians today. That's the problem and shows like American Idol contribute to their ignorance. There are groups making good music but unless you live where there is a big live venue like Austin, Texas or Nashville you will not get exposed to them.
There were many songs played on the radio back in the 50's 60's and 70's that would be considered mainstream or pop music that were brilliant. Sometimes while surfing the radio stations today while in the car, I run across some of the stuff out there being played and it all sounds manufactured and the same.

Another treasure by America.

This one makes you feel like you are riding in convertible with the top down and the wind blowing through your hair.

Just incredible!
