Man sentenced in drunken driving death

A 19-year-old man has been given 100 days behind bars for a Moody County crash that resulted in the death of 17-year-old Kayla Gaff of Colman last year. via KXMB-TV Bismarck

For your information I do have issues about Kayla's boyfriend having the beer and as for my son Dustin he did not purchase the alcohol for these kids and I'm tired of people making accusations that he did. We know who bought the beer and they've been charged and are serving the sentence the judge decided for them.
To me the real issue is that Flatten got behind the wheel and drove under the influence at a very high rate of speed AND KILLED MY DAUGHTER KAYLA. We all have brains and make can make choices...the bottom line is Flatten killed someone and it was not an accident because it could of been avoided. As for all these stupid rumors that the family is saying that Kayla was driving when they left town...prove it and show me pictures otherwise shut your mouths.

I am so glad something had to be done for godsakes
my daughter was killed in this driving recklessly down a dirt road intoxicated duh????can't they realize the danger of losing control of the vehicle and hitting an embankment, flipping over several times and finally the vehicle lands on your child and she is killed instantly....do people not realize what this can do to a family...it totally ripps them to pieces and our lives are forever changed from this incident. I'm so glad to be moved out of the town of Colman. I didn't feel people cared once the initial shock was over. I will never live there again. poeple are so two faced and could give a careless about you

It is a true tragedy. It could happen to anyone who makes the same poor decision. Bad deal for all involved.
