Nursing home to close in Lake Preston

Kingsbury Memorial Manor, a long-time nursing home in Lake Preston and one of the town's largest employers, will close next month.

This is odd to read this. I was just reviewing old family history documents yesterday and read the obituary for my mother's uncle Henry M. Larson of Lake Preston. It stated that Henry was a major contributor and instrumental in getting the Kingsbury Manor Nursing Home up and running, and that he was its first resident. My mother was Mildred E. Larson.
