Brookshires Bad Move

I was told by some current employees of the Rayville Brookshires that long-time manager of Rayville Brookshire's, Mark Bryan, has left his position as manager of the store. This move apparently came after he was told that he was to transfer, against his will, to another location. Also, a couple of other long-time employees were let go OR resigned. No matter what the technique--This is a very bad move on the part of Brookshires! Mr. Bryan has been a long-time, hard-working manager of the Rayville Brookshires! In the event, they need additional input, I'm going to call the corporate office in Texas and let them know my sincere thoughts about Mr. Bryan's departure from the Rayville location!
I am sure there is always two, three or MORE sides to every story BUT the ultimate result--No Mark Bryan at Brookshire's of Rayville = BAD MOVE & BAD news for brookshires shoppers. I guess that I will have to drive to another town to get the hometown atmosphere (and not another Brookshires) that I felt at the Rayville Brookshires for all these years! Thank you, Mr. Bryan for all your long years and hard work and dedication to Rayville Brookshires!

I too miss Mark Bryan. What an asset to Brookshires! I feel the corporate office made a stupid decision regarding Mar'k's transfer. He is such a kind man. Brookshires, we want Mark back! If enough people call Brookshires about their displeasure over Mark leaving we might be able to have him transferred back to the Rayville store-or not. But we can try! Bless you Mark! We miss you!!

I talked to the new Brookshires manager today-Jason Audrisch- who told me that Mark had been given a lesser position at Delhi and Mark resigned at that. Marcus Hogg was transferred to the N.18th store as Grocery Manager-a step down and Laurie was either fired or transferred to another store. All of the other employees are there. Another employee said they were like a family and everyone has shed tears over the crappy move of Brookshires. The woman who instigated all this mess is no longer with Brookshires. Mark is not answering his phone and the customers have dropped about 75%. Jason told me they are trying to win the customers back with low prices and great customer service. There is a gloom over the place right now but hopefully, that will dissipate over time.

I thought a lot of Mark and the other employees who were let go. What could have been so awful to either terminate or demote these persons who have been an asset to Brookshires for numerous years???? I no longer shop there unless it is a have to situation. I either drive to Ford's in Winnsboro or go somewhere (not Brookshires) in Monroe. I really thought that the corporate heads respected the customer, I no longer feel this way. I have met Jason and he seems like a wonderful guy, but I want Mark back! He knew the community, and he honestly knew his customer. I guess in time, things may change, but for now I don't like Brookshires. I also said that about McDonalds about 8 months ago and I have yet to spend a penny there since. I know my dollar isn't much on the grand scale of things, but it matters to me where my money goes. If I am not comfortable in a store, I am not spending my hard earned dollar there.

"The woman who instigated all this mess..." We don't care to know names but what type of trouble making power could one person have that would cause Brookshire's management to move or demote a long-time successful manager like MARK BRYAN?? Mark was a manager that led by example, personable, kind-hearted, positive customer-service-type of guy that can never be replaced! Mark took the Rayville Brookshire store from a dump to a high quality, top customer service, CLEAN, TOP-Notch business! I often saw Mark himself, carting groceries to customer cars! He CAN NEVER be replaced!
Back to my original question-what situation that one person could instigate would generate this much flak?

Don't know e-mane but Travis stayed with Kaye's and works in Winnsboro. All the employees at Brookshires are still there with the exception of Mark, Laurie and Marcus.
