Bringing the Mountain to Muhammad Io. Question with boldness even the existence of a God ; because if there be one, He must more approve of the homage of reason, than that of blindfolded fear. Io. I have sworn upon the altar of God, eternal hostility against every form of tyranny against the mind of man. Io. A coward is much more exposed to quarrels than a man of spirit. Io. It is error alone that needs the support of government. Truth can stand alone. Io. In matters of style swim with the current; in matters of principle stand like a rock. Io. When we get piled on one another in large cities, as in Europe we will become as corrupt as Europe. Io. It is incumbent on every generation to pay it's own debts as it goes. A principle if acted on would save one half of the wars of the world. Io. A Bill of Rights is what the people are entitled to against any government, and what no just government should refuse or rest on inference. Io. I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Io. I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just, that his justice cannot sleep forever. Io. I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. Io. My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government. Io. I never considered a difference of opinion in politics, in religion in philosophy, as cause for withdrawing from a friend. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Where do we live? Oh dear, THAT'S so MARVELOUSLY witty and I so love it when someone corrects my typos. It shows so much "class" and, at the same time, highlights your superior intelligence. BTW do you happen to have three nipples or suffer the delusion that you are a world calls author? What's you stand on ANAL SEX? Read any good (little black) books lately?

Homoerotic fantasy or taking notes at the window? I did answer the question you babbling idiot. I said no pissing contest! IT HAD NOTHING to do with YOU. It's not that important, put it away. FOOL!

Silo shot wrote: USS motherjones has sunk the pirate ship called XXX Willard Mitt Romney. As the liberal American press and ultra-liberal bloggers inundate the Internet and newsprints with criticisms of what Mitt Romney, the GOP presidential challenger to President Barack Obama, said about Obama during the Libyan attacks and murders, throngs of foreign press and few American outlets tell the real story involved with the White House’s role in the incidents that we now know could have been prevented. After the American media grabbed and held the pro-Obama headlines against Romney’s comments and took Obama’s “Romney shoots first and aims second” quote to iconic proportions, the rest of the world is reporting that the Obama administration knew about the planned-attack on the Benghazi, Libya Embassy where four Americans, including United States Ambassador Christopher Steven was murdered. The reporters and bloggers who have made Mitt Romney the story – instead of the attacked-United States Embassy, the innocent Americans who were attacked, and the White House with its president in abstention as he continually treks the campaign trail regardless of the duties left behind in Washington, D.C.– are guilty of letting another American tragedy remain buried. All attention must be given to the more-than-strong suggestions that the Libyan attack didn’t “just happen” to have happened on September 11 – the commemorative day of the September 11, 2001 attacks on New York City – but were planned well-in-advance.

I guess it's Romney and Bush's fault for not warning Obama that on Sept 11 of any year you might want to take warnings serious. But now we see why they are leaking obama didn't make too many security meetings to distance himself from those warnings since he was in Vegas..baby! But I agree it was wise to have Hillary in the cook islands, I hope she got everything straightened out there. Most of us are really worried about that situation.

Laquesha Jefferson PhD wrote: Um...did Mitt Romney come out? Is that why there are so many posts about him here tonight? Alas, I went through the "Real Time News" feed earlier this evening and the Mittster has said or done nothing of any real importance today, let alone anything as (insert adjectives here) as THAT. Personally, I'm glad. It gives me hope when some of the phobes remain heterosexual and not not gay, but prone to certain indiscretions of a sexual nature, not to be confused with heterosexuality, nor any paraphilia of the really, really naughty variety. There's too much "we have met the enemy and he is us" as they come flying out the closet in less than flattering ways, we gotta thank the god(s) some of them are really heterosexual. While the statistical odds against any one of those who still believe that oppression is the order of the day actually being as much of a heterosexual they profess to be are high, the odds are against the only thing standing in our way was our own self-loathing and there really are some straight folk that hate us THAT much. Shorter answer: Saying Mitt Romney is fun and it will help us remember his name when he becomes the answer to a trivia question rather than President-elect.

Up until the story appeared AFTER he and the others were killed, I wasn't aware that he even might have appointed a Gay man as Ambassador to Libya, were you? If ANYONE was willing to say when he was named and approved, or any point since, no one heard, until after he was already dead. I imagine you can find out why yourself, you can look up his qualifications (other than his sexual orientation, which can neither be confirmed nor denied) and most of what was said about him when he was approved by the Senate should be public record.

I agree Why would I be aware of his personal life, I would think it would be known to the people that hired him since he wasn't hiding it. I agree we need to be careful putting gay people in countries like that.
