I can see that but you'll teach the kids how to cheat cause that's all you'll do play dirty,I'm glad my son is not in your team because if he was I would pull him out,
that's all del rio is about playing dirty, cheating and rude......

To all the football coaches and cheer coaches. I would like to thank you for volunteering your time to all the youth participating in the DRYFL. To the people complaining, nagging or just being idiots grow up and look at the bigger picture. It's for the kids.

I pulled My son from Football all together! He loves it and wants to play. Team he was on cared about winning so much (and still came in next to last) that they wouldnt play him. It was his first year, granted but how else is he supposed to learn. It pissed me off when it got to the point where they would even have him on the sidelines during practice. Him and other first year palyers. They played them on "special teams" just enough to get by and say they put him in the game!! F-ing Crap!!
It doesn't seem that they teach enough of the fundamental skills kids need. At this point winning/losing shouldn't matter. Teach them the basics so they uderstand the game and don't get hurt. Look at how many times ambulances have already been called to take kids to the hospital. I've coached myself so I know how much time it takes.

look if your serious about your kid learning a sport properly. Dont bring them to us. Wait till they get to 7th grade so a real coach with a degree in something can teach them.

I am a former Cowboy parent and not one time have those coaches told the boys to cheat or shown them how to cheat. The drama comes from the sore losers or the "I wish my son had coaches that gave a [email protected] about them." parents. Look it is very simple if you think that you can do a better job at coaching then why don't you ask the head coach if you can help. I am sure it isn't easy being a coach because parents judge you by your winning/loosing record not by what your child has learned. Now I know that there are parents that say "well my son doesn't play he is always on the side line" well does your child attend all practices? does he listen to the coaches? does he pay attention in practice? does he give 110% in practice? take all those things into consideration before judging the coaches. Maybe it is best so that your child does not get hurt. I bet you didn't look at it that way.Well I just want to say Thank you to all Coaches who dedicate there time to the DRYFL and Good Luck to ALL TEAMS!!!!!!!!!!
Peace

tiger coaches are doing good with the boys thanks for volunterring the cheer coach thats a different problem im waisting my money on something that is not productive she does not teach the girls im expecting my daughter to learn but that will not be possible cause the cheer coach does not know either she needs help who do we talk about this prob to in the league
First of all, you can thank the Brackett cheer coach for starting the cheer team. Nobody else would step up or even volunteer to help. Secondly, parents were complaining about how she was pushing them too hard. And now, she's not doing enough? You should be thanking these volunteers (football and cheer) for taking time out of their schedules to help these kids without expecting anything in return. But go ahead and sit on your butt and complain from the bleachers.
