I heard they were going to make a movie bout the San Felipe Mustang Miracle. If its put together just right and the chemistry of the trials, tribulations, racial quarrels and the racial separation that was imminent in this small city/big town, this movie should attract some money to San Felipe Del Rio. I picture it as a movie in the same caliber as "The Legend of Bagger Vance". From what I've heard, San Felipe Del Rio has come a long way. There is still a legal promise that wasn't kept. It stemmed from the consolidation of the schools. Anybody know what that was? ;)

Wonder who's directing and starring in the movie? Wonder when it will be released?

It was in the paper about a month ago. There is a book titled Mustang Miracle written by a local author. Believe it or not. The "George Lopez" is interested in producing the movie.

They need to get over it and build a second high school. Well more like a technical school cause most of these kids need to learn a trade.

I'm sure the Superintendent of Curriculum is not going to s**+'to help these kids and implement these programs. Much less the lame duck school board.

Amen! This is what the kids need. Not everyone can be a rocket scientist. You need to sit at home and read. 90 % of parents don't make their kids do that. Schools can only do so much. It has to start at the home. Good kids+good homes=successful students.

That is how it is. Schools have a hard time putting out nutritious lunches (Recent evidence shows that prison lunches are better for you than school lunches). How can they really educate the masses???

Get them to learn a trade.
