Depending how you goin go over there, I wouldn't recommend taking a new ride cause no harm may not happen to you but someone will be driving your ride for themselfs. Take a cab and don't try to stick out and you will be fine

Go during daylight hours, don't try to show off, be cautious of your surroundings, leave any jewelery behind, go for what you need to do and back asap, don't wander away from the port entry and just keep calm

There is parking BUT the walk kinda far from the parking best bet is have a taxi pick you up and drop you off

No this shooting was away from the entry area but tourism has gone down bad in these past years. Acuna isn't as big and bad as nuevo laredo or across from el paso but you do feel the cartel presence in the area. It isn't as bad as you cross because there's a federal and military presence there but the farther away from the entry the more you are on your own. I do cross but I would feel safer with a escort or one of my firearms. Like I said I go and come back as soon as possible, I don't try to stay and go into deeper parts of acuna

You won't find several hundred tourists in Acuna - more like 0. 1 if you go. Tourism died several years ago.

I have gone a few times and what is sketchy is the deportees, they deport them right there and you got a 100 guys having to make their way back home so you get a lot of beggars, your best bet is to go with someone that knows acuna

I am headed to boys town in a few weeks. I am a Hispanic male and I speak Spanish. I am taking a taxi up there and won't wear jewelry or dress fancy.

I've heard a lot of advice about going to acuna from people that stopped going. I'd like to hear something from someone who ha actually gone to Mexico.

Have any of you been to the red light district in the last few months?

Two story building. Does excellent work! I'm a white women and I go alone and haven't had any issues so far and it's almost been a year that iv started going

I go every weekend to shop and its safe. Don't walk the bridge because there's a lot of illegals who are dropped off randomly and there are a lot of people trying to sell you stuff.

Didn't you hear about the police there killing other cops? Or when they killed 20 kids????? Oh wait that was here in the US side. Talked to my Mexican barber about the violence he said. Everybody in the Us thinks is dangerous here. Everybody in mexico thinks is dangerous here. You know what the difference is? People in the US kill for no reason at least here in Mexico is about money. As long as you don't flash it. No body will bother you. In the US 20 kids were killed.... but not for money. For no reason. So which country is more dangerous?

That's the weight loss doctor. I use to go there and his pills caused me thyroid problems and my sister high blood pressure. I wish someone had warn me so I'm warning you. You will regret it, stop taking those pills.
