Fresh & Easy is a great concept and I'm looking forward to this current gap in the market being filled by this quality supermarket.

Are we supposed to be proud in Seaside? That City Center has been mostly empty for about a year, and now we're supposed to hail the incoming of
Britain's version of Wal-Mart, the Fresh & Easy? I suppose nothing local or even regional in character or virtue can afford to lease those "coveted" spaces. Seaside, you can and need to do better.

I don't live in Seaside, but I have many friends who are residents. I have always wondered why Seaside didn't have their own grocery store. It just didn't seem fair. Now they will have Fresh and Easy right there for folks to do their grocery shopping. Congratulations, Seaside!

I think angry people that live in Monterey, should concern themselves with Monterey. You can keep your so called "local" shops (most of which sell high priced imported goods to tourists). Seaside will benefit greatly from Fresh and Easy. Too bad there's not a huge "super" Walmart going in right next door. Stay in Monterey if you don't like it. Yeah! for Seaside.

I lived in Las Vegas for a few years before moving back here to Seaside, they have fresh and easy's EVERYWHERE!! when you hit it up the right time of the day all fresh prepared items like produce, meat, seafood, fresh soups, meals etc..are marked WAY down as they get closer to there experiation date, great way to save money on fresh products.
