Typical......
1 to 2 percent didn't speak English.
Now the number on non-English students has soared to8.9 percent in five years.

So the fix is to reenforces this behavior by INSTALLING A SPANISH VOICE MAIL SYSTEM.

Is this because the biligual education system has worked so well?

Or how about you guys learn Spanish? Open your mind to different languages and cultures. I am multi-ethnic (not Hispanic) and trilingual. American born and bred. The xenophobes who always post here are just afraid to be left behind in this new international economy.

I am more than happy to "open my mind to different languages and cultures"...but NOT at the cost of the national language of this country. I have taken Spanish and French and am also foreign born bi-lingual..a second language was REQUIRED when I was in school and in many school districts..it still is. But not catering to a bunch of people who do not care to learn the language of the country they are living in is not about being xenophobic...it's about schools making it a priority that all students AND their parents learn the national language...and that language is NOT Spanish!!!!

Big mistake to accomodate the few non english. It only gets worse. I had to move 40 miles to get away from this shit as in a matter of a few years it ruined our schools. English is the official language of aviation yet we can't get it to be the official language of our country? WTF?
