yep, With Strickland and Obama touting the news that the Economy is improving is just more propoganda spewed by the mainstream. My son who has a degree in Computer tech. has always had great paying jobs. He just got his wages cut in half...but he couldn't quit and find another position b/c he was afraid there aren't any. So even employers who are not laying people off are cutting back on their expenses.

The political climate is not promoting economic growth --- even though they say they are!

Wait a sec, didn't Obama give stimulus money to Ohio to hire 25 new cops. Last i remember he was there shaking hands with them. Funny! They're hired, then let go because they're the lowest on the list...Hilarious

I don't understand how you or anyone can possibly 'blame' the economy on President Obama. It is shallow thinking to blame someone who has been in office for less than half a year. This economic meltdown has been going on for YEARS. the fact that there are no good-paying jobs to sustain those of us in rural settings has been in a downslide since the 1980s. Our Grandpas had the good-paying auto and manufacturing jobs... pay began sinking decades ago. it sucks.

and what are we to expect Gov. Strickland to do? Pres. Obama gave money for police, but the Ohio gov't is the one who let officers go. Not President Obama. It is unbelievable to me on a certain level that people can complain about the president like this after the things, illegal many of them, that Pres. Bush instituted or did. Gov. Strickland is trying hard to work with a canvas that is called the State of Ohio, one of the WORST HIT states in the entire country for unemployment. At this point, I wouldn't care what party our governor claims either. I'm just tired of being broke after working as hard as I can. It is depressing to make a check that can't really even cover one bill. i feel like the rat on a wheel.
