Napoleon is a crappy town with crappy, self dilluted and back stabbing idiots. I hope their entire economy falls off and that arrogant a s s of a town ends up a ghost town in Ohio.

i live in napoleon and yes i can say it seem our legal part of our town seems only to workour for people who have the right name. if you have the right name and do somfthing wrong it can be keep out of the pspers or just go away.our wellfairsystem does not look out for our kids its just look the other way until something happens.where were they when the litte 1 year old kamryn was killed way have her mother and boyfriend got to walk the streets they should have deen keep in jail when til they face a jury.

I so agree with you. People in Napoleon are self centered. Thinking only of themsaelves and what others will think of them. They have no loyalties but to self. I've known some who look as far back into someone elses past just to tell others how bad someone else was and how great they are. And yet, they hold as many skeleton's in their closets as anyone else. Arrogant? Extremely and it's sickening to us who try and accept others for "THEM and not what someone did 20 years ago. Guess napoleon people, at least most, tend to be uppity and name is everything. Well, we all have names, we all have a past.... Have to ask people in Napoleon one main question. "How Do You Put Your Pants On?" Oh, thought you had a special way since most of you are so special.

I know one guy from Napolean and he is pretty much a jackass all though he lives in the Columbus area now. So far I would have to agree with the other Napolean haters. I am one for one with Napoleans.

Never been to Napoleon but considering these posts (#3 & #4) me thinks the vacation plans will not include a trip here.

How can you call a town "uppity",when the powers that be allow something like that trailer court on Huddle road to exist. I lived there in 1960 to 1963,it had a swimming pool,a laundry building and a half way decent playground for kids. The owner lived on site too. It was not a really great place then, but now its is soooo much worse, the play ground is in serious need of replacment and some safety features installed, a new fence so the kids cant get into the neighberions yards and wreck their landscaping. The owner lives off site and the people pay their lot rents by mail. There is a guy who has a poster on his trailer advertising his business and the trailers are packed in there so tight that I am sure it is a negitive effect on the quality of life for those people that find a trailer is the best housing that they can afford in Napoleon.Maybe those uppity people should be invited to take a tour and see what is right under their noses that can be fixed with some decent houseing guide lines from elected officals.They need to hear about it from some one that lives in Napoleon.

i know the trailor court you are takeing about my husband and i lived there after we were married in1971 it still had the pool and nice play ground. we moved out 2 years later and it went down hill after that. yes our so called officals should take a look at it .it needs some importen issuse.

the trailer court on huddle road puts me in mind of almost white trash.The guy who owns it lives in Toledo and his name is Joe Goddell,his name has been in the paper at diffferent times.Maybe if the people that Live there in the Trailer Court would start complaining too the Right People maybe something would be done,but then Maybe they don't care.The owner of that Trailer Court also owns another Trailer by the Amvets Post.I would not Live at either Trailer Court especiaaly the one on Huddle Road.The Law also gets called to that Trailer Court quite alot,so who would want that,and why should the guy that has a business be doing it out of his Trailer.There are also children in the court where do they play besides in the street,because the so called Playground is unfit for them.

A good Dr. is a good DR.Her bedroom is not an operating room .Stay out of it.Now about that falling apart playground equipment at Trailer Court on Huddle Road,those people pay lot rent there.They are entitled to safe surroundings and lots large enough to prevent the quick spread of FIRE.They need to go about that place and measure the distance between trailers and take lots of picture of the unsafe areas and take them to CITY HALL! THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ,THE CITY COUNCIL,THE LOCAL NEWSPAPER,THE MAYORS OFFICE,have a CITY ENGINEER to inspect the play ground and above all form a renters association of every renter in that place and PICKET CITY HALL.WE still have the right to peaceful demonstrations.

The managers are indeed very hard working people and they care about the park,they can only do what they have a budget to work with. The question about safety is-does the distance between trailers meet city code,is there a fire safety issue ??
Is the playground equipment modern and up to date or just painted to look nice??I would suggest the park manager check with the city parks department see if they can borrow a playground equipment catalog and ask about currant playground safety requirments,things change and so should businesses that effect peoples lives on a daily basis. The people who pay the rent are entitled to be safe .Is there OSHA or city engineers that can offer advice??If you live and PAY RENT there ,call or write City Hall for proper information.
