Where did you happen to snap the photo, dptx? I was dropping my daughter off at a friends house tonight after our retreat and I think we saw one off of Durant!

He was in my backyard for about 10-15 minutes. Very colorful creature and that plume was really long. I had to do some digging to find out what it was... as info and pictures did not exactly describe him. I figure he may still be a bit young, considering the pictures found for an adult.

Nice.
Nature can be so calming and beautiful, amongst all the uglyness.

I saw one of these yesterday, but not here in DP. It was interesting to watch it stalk it's prey. I believe it devoured a crawfish while I was watching.

They used to hang out around my house, here in Deer Park. The area around their nests are not the nicest smelling but they are pretty creatures.

Daily Horoscope for May 19

Pisces

Happily, the atmosphere starts to lighten today, leading to a much more comfortable time. You'll also find it easy to get on well with other people, which will come as a big relief. You may even be able to make amends for what happened yesterday and reach some sort of agreement at long last. If you're going to a social event you'll have a really good time.
