As I drove down Center street this morning I noticed quite a few new establishments that have opened in our city. That is good however, I counted six Payday and Title loan stores and a Pawn Shop. Is this the only kind of stores we can attract? Center Street is starting to look like a strip normally seen outside a military base. What's next a Metro station. Thoughts?

Noticed the same thing, must either be the current economic status of US or socio-economic low-income residents that DP is attracting!

These Pawn Shop and Payday Loan shops are the new jobs Obama has been bragging about.

Low property taxes and free car wax make this channel-side resort area very attractive to Teabagger families.

the city turned down the metro bus stop but there's one in front of the college; not too far.

How about building a military base on the south end of Deer Park... plenty of room...

Traffic on Center Street is bad enough as it is.... quit counting and try to keep your eyes focused on the road...
