A penny saved is a penny earned.

If you save your pennies dated 1982 and before which are still in circulation, the copper content melt value is $0.0211336, or just a little over two cents. So every copper penny you save from your change... you make an additional penny.

If you could find and sort enough circulated rolls of pennies... you could make a job of it.

For a while after they quit minting silver dimes for circulation in 1964... you could still find them in your change.

I collected coins as a kid... I'd ride my bike around to every store that would sell me a roll of change and then ride home to sort through them.

It was like a treasure hunt.

I'd find silver dimes and quarters, wheat pennies and a foreign coin every now and then.

If you watch your change closely... you can still find a silver coin every once in awhile.

Oh... and word to the wise, you should probably start saving all of your change anyway... and any extra cash you have on hand should all be in rolled coin.

The rumor is we are going to be getting a whole new currency sooner or later, it might be two years it might be ten years... but it's coming.

Old dollars will probably be exchanged 10 to 1 or more.

But... the catch is, they will still be using the same change we have in circulation now because it would cost too much to replace it all.

So... one dollar in change will still be worth one dollar in the new currency.

My father told me this would happen one day... years ago, I didn't think much of it then.

He also told me in the mid 1970's that I should save all my money and buy some property with a natural spring... and sell bottled water.

I thought he was crazy, who would buy bottled water when you can get it out of the hose for free? Who knew he was just a little ahead of his time?

That's probably how most of you think of me, as just a little bit crazy... or maybe even a WAY bit crazy, but the truth is... I am my fathers son... and I too am just a little ahead of my time.

Sure wish the rest of you would catch up.

Oh what a wonderful it could be.

Peace, love... and a life in harmony,

Those rolled coins will always be worth something... especially if they are silver or copper.

Even rolled clad coins will always naturally be more valuable than their equal in bills.

Paper may soon only be worth paper... but metal of any kind will always have value.

I will never work for anyone except God, Elaine.

He is my employer... he is my retirement plan... I put all my faith in him.

Where do you put your faith?

I haven't done a very good job of sorting coins for what is to come, but I have other ideas. It stands to reason that there will be an electricity shortage when the economy eventually collapses.

I have been building a solar backup system from scratch. It's far from what I anticipate what will be needed, but I have a start on it.

For people that think there won't be a collapse, think again. Oblamo and some of the other parasites have been deliberately increasing the Federal deficit on purpose.

Combine that with Bernanke diluting the dollar by printing more worthless money, countries who use the U.S. dollar as reserve currency will dump it, hyperinflation will set in and good bye to the U.S. Dollar and hello to world currency.

It will happen... and the American people will be deceived into welcoming it with open arms.
