How about retaining and attracting qualified teachers for one and another, lower student-teacher ratio.

The majority spoke for Obama too, but that doesn't mean much, does it? He too, like the DPISD, will never have enough of our money.

They, DPISD, pitted the educators against the non-educators and as many know, turn out is always low by the ill informed. DPISD did all they could to keep the tax request on a very low profil. Less than 8% of the voters passed a tax increase on loo% of the taxpayers due to uninformed citizens.

Too bad its not mandatory that all authorized citizens vote. Perhaps then we would have reasonable spending and true represtation by eleccted officials. Its all about grabbing our money.

Passing this tax does not insure students get a quality education. It does insure that you will have less money and the district will have more to waste and give themselves more money. The Robin Hood schools will also have more money, our money, thanks in part to you!

So delusional it's sad...
If you would take the time to call your state reps and really research why this was needed then you might feel different, but I seriously doubt that your blinders would let you see or hear the truth of the situation. If you don't like the outcome then please by all means move from DP and live somewhere cheaper.

And that would translate into how much money being spent on my kid's education in the classroom?

I'm glad that you are so thankful for the opportunity to shell out more money to a bunch of greedy spendaholics with no changes in the
actual quality of education.

Maybe the whole lot of you need to take Economics 101 and Common Sense 101.

It will never be enough; that's the problem. I have talked to two people associated with the school district and each one said "But the staff needs a raise." Not, "The children will have access to programs" but that the staff gets a raise. Now you tell me who the district is looking out for.

Yes, by all means research and learn how Adair spends money like a drunken sailor.
