This is a drainage fee proposal and even the School District has to pay this tax but at least the Citizen of Deer Park will get to vote on this
tax. It look like double taxtation.

First of all, provide a reference for your comments.

Second... when did school districts have to pay taxes? Government entities (which include school districts) are exempt from paying taxes.

I sure hope you don't sit on the Pension Board for HFD.

Is this drainage proposal because of the mandate known as the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES)? The NPDES mandate requires cities to implement programs and practices to control polluted storm water run‐off through a permitting program. Deer Park is required to develop a storm water management program that will address six minimum control
measures. The program is to be developed and implemented in phases over a five year period. Yes I copied and pasted.

Our mayor said in the Broadcaster we would joining Houston in this program.

Then how the hell did you manage to find this website?

I don't want the paper. It's a waste of trees, when you can read the same thing on the internet. Now, just type " chron.com " in that bar at the top and go see if you can find the article.

So another reason not to vote Bill White in as Governor! Big city plans aren't always the best example to follow. DP has had fairly good drainage since I lived in it, Houston seems to flood all the time, so why do we need any type of drainage improvements? Or is this just a way to get more revenue?

A vote for Bill White will mean Texas will be an official sanctuary state based on his actions of having Houston a sanctuary city while he was in office. We need someone that has the guts to protect Americans and remove the illegals before the invasion completely takes over. One language in our schools, one language for drivers testing, one language on government documents, and etc.; that language is ENGLISH, NOT SPANISH OR ANY OTHERS!
Can I have an AMEN?

I don't know. I haven't seen the article you're talking about, as I'm still waiting for you to post a link to it.
