The festering boil of a mayoral election is coming to an end, wondering if anyone has a prediction.

The gardner will win because people do as they're told. The mayor (yep, the same guy that has greatly contributed to running DP into the ground) has endorsed him, that alone will get the old folks out to vote because this way they can feel they are important - after all they dont care about the higher taxes, etc, they dont have to pay them.

The mortician ill come in second. A lot of people like what he has to say and that he tands up to Beckie Cob and the ret of the bunch. He ont have enough votes to win because of the negative crap put out by the current mayor and council.

The towtruck operator will come in last. Less than 20% of the votes. All he has is name recognition, but nobody knows anything good about him (if there is such thing). He has made a name for himself out of threatening to sue anyone that doesnt do his bidding.

If Mouton elected Mayor NO CHANGE IN OUR CITY GOVERNMENT. The morning of May 12, 2013 Deer Park City will have no changes. Business as usual for the last 20+years continue to see your Tax Dollars spent with our your approval.

If Pound elected Mayor, No Change IN OUR CITY GOVERNMENT. Since he has sat on City Council for 4 Years hand picked by Mayor Riddle (Who asked Pound to run for City Council when seat was open). Short memory we are having right now. Pound is saying and doing everything he can right now to separate himself from Mayor Riddle. Pound has not stood up to current Council Members for City issues. NO CHANGES IN DEER PARK CITY IF POUND ELECTED FOR MAYOR...BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR ANOTHER 4 YEARS IF POUND ELECTED MORNING OF May 12, 2013.

Larry Cernosek on his own dime has kept himself involved and informed in City and State Government by attending Austin legislative meetings. Keeping apprised of local issues. The current council does not approve of his letters to the editor expressing his view of their decisions . However, our local city officials need to be accountable to their citizens. If, you seriously want to see a True leader to stand up for issues. Larry will be able to make some positive changes. The Morning of May 12, 2013 will be a positive change in Deer Park Larry Cernosek, Mayor!

When Jeff wins the election you and many others will get a true awakening. He will clean up the good old boy network that has been ramped in the city for too long. Guys like Rob Johnson will have to go else where and maybe our local real estate guru on Center Street as well.

Get ready for tremendous savings from needless trips & entertainment along with budgets that target needed programs for all citizens and not limited for just the influential that have funded campaigns for too long. Its time to take back our city for all citizens. Department heads need to prepare to prove their budget needs and that they are conservative in all aspects.

I would hope that the city will adjust to a calendar year instead of splitting the years. Dinosaurs once roomed the earth and r distinct, so should the old split budget years. Its much easier talking about a calendar budget instead of 2013/2014, this is what the schools do, not good for a city.

If you want to see how the good old boy crap works, check into the motel on Center located on the old Wilson property. Next to the lawnmower shop. Get records and decide for your self, you might find McDugle's name attached to the full record

That is NO SECRET about McDugle staying at Hotel...Pound was asked by Mayor Riddle run for City Council. Mayor Riddle has supported everyone sitting on Deer Park City Council with exception of Rae.

Have you ever heard of inside trading? This is a prime example and it was even deeper than that!

Perhaps the Cernosek factor will keep needed votes from going to Pound and the race from going to a run off as well.
I voted for Pound but expect the machine to dredge up the needed votes to keep it all running smoothly and get Mouton into the big chair.
