this is a travesty, the horrors that that woman subjected innocent animals to should be reason enough for her to see substantial jail time, I am sadened and frustrated by this verdict

It shows her picture in this article. I agree, she should get booked on all charges.

We can't shut them down because they make money. Close one and another one pops up somewhere else.

The way to close them down is to cut off their source of income. That means pet stores and people looking for pets should buy only from reputable breeders or go to the humane society or other shelters for their pets.

Yes, you'll have to pay more for your pet. But if you seriously want to shut down puppy mills, this is the only way it will happen.

You're absolutely correct. Probably most people don't realize where the cute puppy in the pet store came from. If more people knew about puppy mills and the horrible lives the breeding dogs live, maybe there would be some hope of closing them down.

I agree with the Westminster Kennel Shows stand when they say don't buy puppies from pet stores or puppy mills. Only buy from reputable dealers.

I've been to her location and it was horrible. There were dogs everywhere .. in raised kennels, in pens everywhere!! They were all barking like crazy and spinning and jumping - all wanted attention. The puppy we looked at was not healthy and we did not buy it. I have since told anyone and everyone I can NOT to buy puppies from pet shops. You should always go to the breeders house and see what it going on ... when the ad in the paper says "will meet" , take the time to "go see" instead.

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Capricorn

Don't let anyone stand in the way of your progress and don't reveal personal secrets. You could very easily become run down at the moment. An empty promise could leave you feeling sad. If you're working today, there could be some problems: stick to your own work and make sure that someone doesn't try to take credit for your efforts.
