I agree. The amounts "earned", by these elected "professionals", is comparable to those public officials who just sit in their cars outside of construction sites.

It's not necessarily the best money spent, in my opinion.

If you're NOT a fan of "probate in CT," but are tired of "reading the same rant" ( a bit inconsistent), you ARE free not to read them, but you are NOT free to deprive me the freedom to read them.
What Rick Green writes about is HIS choice.
Your comment sounds vaguely familiar. I believe you tried the same tactic on another article. If I'm correct, you suggested that he write about the elections. I suggest (though you're certainly free to do as you wish)that you try to get into the publishing business yourself. Who knows, I might be tempted to buy a few copies of your first publication.

Sorry, I don't know what you're talking about "trying the same tactic..." And there's no need to get so angry about my opinion.. geez...chill out! I don't think my comments are inconsistent. I'm just saying that I get the point after a dozen or so article about Probate. Let's give the new Probate Court Administrator a fair shake and a chance to address the issues--he knows full well what they are.

Well I didn't go to the site suggested yet, but I will.
Till then I will offer something
of a more sobering thought; imagine you made plans for your future (probably ones that included your family)imagine instead you become embroiled in a probate nightmare.
You are declared incompetent, you are
appointed a conservator who has you locked up in a nursing home, isolated and over medicated (easier to control the conservatee that way)and your civil rights are taken away.
Now you complain and say you want your own drs., own lawyers and your rights restored (pretty clearminded for an incapacitated person).
Then your 'conservator' says no, you can not have your freedom and will fight your desire for freedom with
your money. Ah ha, the probate judge
sanctions, the laws forgot who they were supposed to protect and now the poor victim 'conservatee' has lost everything--something you probably wouldn't want or wish on another human being.
Why does Rick Green write those articles, probably in the hope of one
day letting the public become aware of what they are losing through a system that fosters croneyism and awards those who silently follow.
America deserves to know what fate will befall the citizens if they are blind to what happens in probate courts that often pervert the law.
Let the new judge have a chance--a chance to address these injustices.
