I hear the potatoes in Idaho are screaming for attention, and Boston baked beans are hot. All we have in the Garden State to talk about is the influx of gang activity. So boring.
I think that the last interesting event in New Jersey was when George Washington attacked a British garrison which was stationed there.:)

I may not be remembering my history correctly, but didn't Washington attack Trenton on Christmas Eve, when the Continental Army pretty much washed up and desperately in need of a victory? I think it was pretty much a major turning point in the war. Maybe New Jersey is allright after all!!

Yes you are correct. Washington's troops crossed the Delaware River and attacked the enemy soldiers during their drunken Christmas celebration. At least that's how the story is told today.

Hello Debbysnack!! Nice to hear from you. <KISS> To be truthful, I'm apprehensive. I'm not a computer whiz, so if I get a virus, malware, worm, anything I'm like a fish out of water. At this moment I have family members ticked off at me because I don't respond to their emails because I'm HERE. My husband HATEs that I spend time on the puter. If I had all my Topix friends' emails on top of my Topix forum habit, I think he'd kill the PC and make me eat the mouse. I hope you understand?
