Am I the only one that noticed that all media coverage of this inquiry has been silenced?

What the hell is going on.

Haha, nobody will ever know because they probably conducted their own investigation and handled it "internally".

Another fleecing of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

We have a system of circular oversight in our state which basically leaves the review of police actions, systems and management back in the hands of police. State police investigate local police from time to time or get involved if there is a homicide and yet local police have secrets about bad cops in the state police, insuring that everyone holds onto the family secrets.

THERE ARE TENS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO BE SAVED BY EXAMINING AND OVERHAULING REDUNDANT, UNNECESSARY AND CORRUPT SYSTEMS IN OUR POLICE FORCES IN MASS.

Tens of millions of dollars back in your pocket voters. Government is trying to cut costs everywhere but you can't touch police money right now. Come on Mass. Do you want to be abused and taken advantage of and give away tens of millions of dollars that you could use yourself in this time of economic crisis?

Enjoy this: Most suburban cops are making way over $100k by the time they are mid career. With pension, with benefits and with protection from most accusation.

How do you feel about this? I think we deserve our money back.

How do I feel about it? I feel like the cops have the Taxpayers bent over and reaching for their ankles; as our lawmen get paid big bucks for sitting on their arses in their cruisers doing nothing whatsoever on the police details.

And, the paychecks that many towns and cities are paying our lawmen are out of control; and so are the cushy retirement benefits. No wonder there is no longer enough money around to keep everything afloat.

It would all be easier to take, if we knew that the proper checks and balances were in place to make sure that the police were actually accountable for their wrongdoing and criminal behavior. Needless to say, the current system is a sham.

Other than that, I feel terrific........

Yep, the police negotiators have a real talent for burying stories involving police corruption and cover ups, alright.

About 10 years ago or so; one of the local Boston TV Stations were advertising a News Story all week, a story that had to do with police corruption and cover ups. And, if my memory serves me right (it typically does serve me right) they were even mentioning the story of a Mass State Cop who was involved in a drunken off duty car crash which resulted in the death of an innocent motorist. I was really looking forward to watching the News Show. But, low and behold, the cops had the whole story yanked off the air and the TV Viewers never heard another peep about it! It was almost like magic!

I suppose that the police and their unions figured that as long as a boozed up blueboy (and, one of our proud Mass State Cops, to boot) had gotten a drunken vehicular manslaughter charge swept under the rug; there was no need to upset the TV Viewers by bringing it to their attention!

What about state police Col Timmy Albin? State paid him to take a masters course, paid study time , paid tuitition, paid travel to california, gave the quinn bill raise and finally promotion to LT Col. Meanwhile he would not allow troopers to search for missing persons because of lack of available $$$ for real public safety.

A veteran Massachusetts state trooper last night pleaded not guilty to federal charges that he sold cocaine out of his Saugus home, an allegation the State Police commander called "disheartening."
Trooper John T. Foley wore a long-sleeve gray T-shirt, black sweat pants, flip-flops - and handcuffs - when he made his initial appearance in US District Court about 6:40.
Foley, 62, was indicted on a single count of distributing cocaine on Oct. 11, but Assistant US Attorney George Vien indicated in court that more charges could be coming. He also said prosecutors want to seize Foley's Highland Street residence.
Foley is assigned to the Revere barracks and has been on the job since October 1971....
And why has a convicted felon be still working in the state police?
Is this the same trooper who allegedly was involved with Mayo and Aubrey? I don't know for a fact, but have herd rumors to that affect. Anyone know?

Lots of Cops not just embellish, and lie (perjure) on their police reports, which is a right of passage for a rookie cop,but they also lie to the D.a. the A.D.A. and the judges and the juries, which keeps the courts in business, the defendants cop out to a lesser charge fearing a harsher sentence, and these cops perfect their lies, making a career out of it, and getting away with it their entire careers,it's a serious epidemic, and has to be stopped

You are a dumb human being. A total and complete moron.

consider the typical cop: Irish, mediocre high school graduate, minimal brains in his head. These are the same guys who are "organized" into a quasi-Mafia to hold hostage any road work without one or several of them getting paid big money to look at guys working and wave the cars by. Whatever happened to getting Civilian flag wavers? Cops (not all, but probably a majority) are just as crooked as the organized crime people. Sometimes one also has to wonder how many people they "set up" with phony evidence to make their dept look good... Nah, they would never do that...they have morals!

Ma state police under fire now for their internal affairs "lack of investigation " against Trooper Brad Porter and Brian Connors of MA state police
Huge coverup, they lied in Ia interviews, and took the transcripts and changed entire lines of what people said. They also gave out the plaintiff interview to the cops to read before their interview
Porter took the 5th and state police refused to turn him over to DA for criminal process investigation
Then after pleading the 5th they allowed him to make a statement, at which point he loses his right to the 5th and the state police should have then skedaddle him questions. They didn't
State police refused to look at woman's clothe she with Porter blood on breast and crotch area, after she was sexually assaulted by Porter. State police sai they didn't need to see the clothes, then said in their report there was no evidence he touched her inappropriately

Porter Connors Connolly drafted a false police report
They called it "posturing"
They all should be fired. They think there are no rules, and untouchable
