Yes, these sheriffs should be placing "immigration holds" on the illegals they come across driving with a license during traffic stops so they can be deported.

LMAO! So, please tell me, then, why the 1986 amnesty did not "solve all our problems" and, in fact, only caused more problems relating to immigration and illegal aliens.

Don't be such an ignorant tool. Just like God has rules (the Ten Commandments), modern civilizations also have rules. Without rules there would would be civil unrest and chaos. Amnesty for a bunch of law breaking, low skilled, uneducated illegal aliens is not going to help "our" country and quite frankly I don't care if their families are being separated. It's called consequence. And if these illegals are so concerned about family unity, let them collectively self-deport back to their native land. Problem solved.

Amnesty for law breaking of any kind will not help our country. What kind of delusions are you having? How do you think chaos and lack of law and order will help something?

The only people separating families are those who are breaking laws. Citizens are separated from their families when they break laws and are sentenced to jail or prison. Should we just forgive their law breaking, too? Hell, why have laws at all? Heaven forbid someone should break the laws we have as a society so as to avoid anyone being separated from other people.

Here's a novel idea: If the illegal aliens don't want to be separated from families, don't steal into another country and, if you do, DON'T START A FAMILY! If you choose to do both, then accept the consequences of your actions when you get caught.

Bottom line, the whole family can go to whatever country the illegal alien is from -- voila! No separation needed.

I don't care about any of it. I don't even care if there are people comming to our country to make a better life for themselves...but...make them pay the same damn taxes we do as natural born citizens, and follow the same laws we are supposed to follow and if they don't, then deport them. Do not give them preferential hiring treatment, take race/ethnicity off of the job applications. Hire because of skill and knowledge and who can do the best job, not because of race. And, limit government assistance programs!!! And, one family per household, problem solved!!!
