Please do not capitalize upon the fear of those people due to the disappearance of one of their citizens. Why haven't you opened a defense school before this happened?

I am very sad for this unfortunate timing. I was in Decaturville when the news broke - no correlation.

The facebook page San Shou Shaolin Gor Chor is posted with the assistance of my friend Ng Kwan - Master San Shou Kickboxer in Malaysia. Just get in the group by sending me a facebook message and I will tell you how it works.

Yours in the Arts,

Coach Kris

It would be a good idea that anyone interested in studying with me begin the fundamental course via this format. You can advance, get certified to a master level of instructor and be awarded a Kanji in San Shou Kickboxing.

Its funny how you are running a Online Martial Academy, yet you have it locked down like Fort Knox. You have also had 3 different businesses in 3 yrs in 3 different states. Now you currently reside in a very small town, So my question to you Mr Warner, what are you hiding from???

Maybe he turned you down cause of your bad attitude. Maybe he was taking up for his self considering all you do is run your mouth all over this town. Grow up its called business! You are aloud to serve and not serve who you choose..
And who are you to try and run anyone out of this town! From what I understand and have seen he is great with his students.

To Jake and No Bull up there in the comments. I being one of Kris's students would like to inform you that: A.) the only people Kris has turned down were people who didn't truly have the intelligence level to be REAL MARTIAL ARTISTS and not just thugs out to hurt people.
B.) MMA should remain on the door because it is in reference to actual training in Mixed Martial Arts not octagon cage match fighting like you were obviously talking about.
C.) If either of you bozos were actually certified practitioners of any level of martial arts even comparable to Kris's, or even some of the 10 year olds in his class, you'd know that unless it's a sanctioned match or a waiver has been signed by both parties under witness of a licensed official it is illegal for people with that level of training to be in a fight due to the fact that they can be charged with assault with a deadly weapon even though its a fist fight.
D.) And finally, no offense to Mr. Ed or anyone else involved in the program, fighting at the tea room or any of the county venues doesn't make you a pro so don't act like it does. And if you were referencing the school in lexington when you talked about experience in jiu-jitsu then,(and no offense to the master there cause I'm sure he is a valid practitioner)only like 5 of the people who have come out of that school that I've met can even start to hold their own in a fight cause I've had sparring matches with a few and that was before I had any training other than rudimentary training in tai kwon do

Everyone is welcome that exhibits the appropriate values and virtues indicative of solid foundational training. MMA has existed for centuries and is not new by any standard. Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Western Warriors have always cross trained in several methods to increase their martial skills. Then of course, there is the matter of "Shin" or the ethical philosophy and virtues associated with martial training. Without it you have nothing of substance. Therefore we have integrated Chi Kung, Silk Reeling and self defense applications as part of our core training.

The Chinese adapted to the failing in the traditional systems via San Shou because of their ineffectiveness in actual combat. Technically, all systems tend toward change and evolution. MMA and all martial arts have all changed and will continue to evolve as a matter of course.

No one system, venue or subgroup holds title to the methods and techniques of MMA. We simply focus on self defense applications and the development of virtue thru strict and serious training that is not designed for competition.

Be at peace,

The "Shin" of Ki Shin Do as well as all martial arts reflect a person's spirit - you know the breathe that sustains life, harmony and self realization.

Courage, Strength, Discipline, Iron Will, Perfection, Humility, Virtue and Spiritual Harmony.

These virtues create a safe environment for training, the community and one's unique passage in the course of life. Shin is as real as the tree in your own backyard. It is deep seated, all encompassing and genuinely present in every thought, emotion, technique and breathe.

Perhaps, within one's unique passage we can hope that peace will prevail and in those trying moments within a students' life that it will reinforce his/her character towward what is good and decent within the toughest of times to allow them to achieve the calling that is deep within them.

Our students seek peace first. Harmony above conflict through acknowledging the presence of the "Master Within". I wish the best for all martial artists in their unique passage. I also know that the school's students reflect the best and the brightest as it relates to these virtues.

The standard simply cannot be ignored or set to something lower.

Be at peace,

Coach

@dont run your mouth
Firt off, it is my priority to run my mouth until you shut it.
A) I didn't practice MMA. I'm a grappling practitioner. I would argue that understanding body mechanics, flows and the the multitudes of theoretics that are encompassed by grappling take more than a little inteligence.
B) MMA entails that it is mixed martial arts not the "we don't practice a ground game because we don't need it" type of philosophy, which is completely false.
C)Hey dipwad, don't call me a bozo. You haven't even revealed your name. Smokers are still legal in TN. And in case you didn't know which i'm sure you don't since you're apparently not well versed on the iska rules and regs, you CAN have an in house exhibition oberved by and iska official. Just so happens there are two iska officials live withing five miles of his gym.
D)Finally i'm so glad i get to come to this point. Since you obviously didn't know..... my credentials run just a little bit deeper than simply the school in lexington. I began in the latter half of 2007 at crossfit jackson which was led By ashley wheat, luiz pallharis black belt, and Kris dove, luiz pallharis brown belt. I then in late 2009 left and moved to clarksville to begin training at SSF academy run by Ron Dailey, former Ken Shamrock student and competitor across several japanese shoot fighting circuits. I also had the pleasure while there of training with Roberto Allencar "Tussa," 2 time world cup black belt champ. I was also a student of Brian Marvin, a gracie barra black belt. Guess what also, I was training with 2 guys who went on to fight on strikeforce cards and one guy who went on to fight on 2 ufc cards. After that i moved to union city and begang lending a hand to the wrestling and grappling portion of jake and zach underwood's mma program.
There is a clear and definate line between real practitioners and people who get a little smoke blown in their ear and think they've actually got a grip on martial arts and combative sports.
Btw, if you can get a black belt in under a year it's not a real martial art, because that's not dedication.

What? Nobody got any comebacks?

Posers. Losers. Two of kris's students couldn't hold a candle to the program I designed for basic ground techniques.

Get on my level.
