I would just like to say to the person who stands behind the name "Alvord Sucks" if it sucks so bad then why are you here?? These people you are putting down have children that read this and probably do not understand why any "GROWN ADULT" stands behind a fake name to talk about others. You say Randy Hamilton is bad for kids, right?? What has he done so wrong?? He VOLUNTEERS to coach children in his "SPARE" time in between all of his kids activities. Don't you think he could probably find things to do with his time like be with his family. What example are YOU setting for our children by bad mouthing people. Seriously if you have that big of a problem with these people and they are so horrible then why would you let your children be around them?? I promise I would NEVER put my kids in harms way of someone this bad and my daughter just happened to be at the Hamilton's yesterday evening. It sounds to me as if JEALOUSY has gotten the best of you. Just because these parents (Hardees, Hamiltons, and who ever else you listed in your rant) push their children to strive for great things life that does not make them bad people!! The really sad thing is the people you are bad mouthing are the first people to step forward and help someone when they need it. I will finish by saying when you want to start talking junk about people you might want to look into a mirror and check your own SELF!!

I had 2 children that went to Alvord, and 2 still in Alvord school. We are not all going to agree with the coaches on every play called. We always laugh in the stands that we need a sit of headphones that go directly to the coaches and ask them “WHAT ARE YOU THINKING CALLING THAT PLAY”. But we are not out there and dedicating our time to do this. Now are we? My children was not always starters but they always get to play, and I really believe if the children give a 110% ALL the time on the field and in class the coaches will see that. Not every child is going to be the next Tony Dorsett or Roger Staubach. Even when we think they are. Every parent thinks that there kid is the greatest, I know I do. But then I have to step back and look again and ask myself (Did he give his all? Did he turn in all of his homework? Is someone a little bigger or better than he is?) Ask yourself those question before you post anything negative about people in Alvord Texas again.
Hey my son has always played for Randy Hardee and Randy Hamilton. I think both are great coaches. Yes sometimes Hamilton might get a little loud but he is out there teaching our children how to be a good football player, sometimes my child needs his buttons pushed, and he always tells Hamilton that he is going to do better than he did in school. I am glad he has a goal that will push him to do his best. Remember they are out there three times a week helping our children, and not getting paid to do this. Also there are several of us with big mouths so why single out just one person. Sounds like some people need to grow up and get on with their life’s.

My son, graduated last year from Alvord with the Meador,s and Hahn's sons. Let me tell you these people care about the kids. If you think our Quarterback last year shouldnt have started then who do you think should have? Maybe you think he wasnt the best but who are you to decide that? He was the most talented we had or he wouldnt have been out there. Just because his parents were friends with the coaches does not mean thats why he was out there. My son played on talent alone. I did not kiss up to the coaches. You cant say everyone that got to play only played because of who they were. My son and I are the perfect example of that. Coach Chaney was great with my son. We did hate to see him leave. Although I know alot of people felt different. Coach Deweber is a good coach also, he was also great with my son. He is now coaching my younger son and I am glad that he is. We stood up for Coach Enis when all that happened also. He was a great coach with the girls and I feel that he was run out of here. I wish he was still here but I can tell you we are lucky to still have Coach Rhonda Enis. She is wonderful with the kids. When it comes to the Hamiltons and Hardees I have known all of these people forever. They would do anything for anybody. They do take time out of their busy schedule to coach. They do take time away from thier families to coach. They do it because the love the kids and love the game. Randy dosent even have a son on the team. He does it for love of the kids and game. He might get loud but as a parent I know my kids dont hear me until I get loud most of the time!! There is a difference in getting loud and talking down to the kids. I cant see that happening with Randy Hamilton. For those of you who had anything to say about Gwen Hardee she is a person you will see at all of the games whether she has one on the field or not. She is an Alvord fan. Most Alvord fans are loud we know that. Just as with any other small town. I can say that I have never heard her say anything bad. I have never heard her call out a kids name on the field for something bad they have done. So what can you say she ever did wrong? Probably nothing Im sure. Most of these people come out to watch my son play in the Oil Bowl this summer. They werent there because they were jealous. They were there because they were proud of him making it. They were there to support him and their town. They are all great people. These people are most of the ones who have raised money for Josh Browne who has Leukemia. The reason you even know them is because they go above and beyond. They are in the middle of everything because they are volunteering their time.These are people that are in the booster club working their rear ends off because most of you are sitting on yours. They arent only doing these things for thier kids they are doing it for yours also. Maybe you should appreciate these people a little more. Maybe you should think about their young children before you post things on here like you have. Also if Alvord sucks? Why are we the only exemplary school in the county? Maybe we need to also look at other things besides football. Maybe some of you really need to take a look in the mirror and a few moments to rethink your ridiculous comments.

So where did "Alvord Sucks" go? What a moron. I am from Bowie and have lived here for 5 years. I think Alvord is a great place to live and send your kids to school. Whoever you are have no idea what you are talking about. You have never coached, you have never taught in a school. You have no idea what it takes to organize a team. Coaches dont care what parents say, they have whining parents coming to them all the time saying play little johnny, he's great. The coaches have a job to do, they have to build a group of players that can win. If little Johnny cant help them win then he's not gonna be quarterback. He'll be on special teams. As far as parents thinking their kid is the best, thats what parents are supposed to do. Oh, and I'm pretty loud too, I guess you could call me a mouth if you wanted to. Go ahead, some people call it "Spirit". In conclusion Mr/Ms Alvord sucks, move if you dont like it. We will even help you. There will be a line of trucks and trailers at your house to load up all your stuff and take it wherever the hell you want it.

Also, the other one from boyd..my dad also was one of the dads that came into the lockeroom before games to give speeches..along with many other people who did the same thing, including past players, and guys who had played in college..is there anything wrong with that? i dont believe so...all coaches have favorites, whats new? But the favorites are also the ones that work their ass off. I graduated with the best group of guys and athletes that i think has come thru alvord in a while..you wanna know why we played? we all had talent, in everything we played..so dont try saying that the only reason we played was because parents whinned or sucked up to the coaches...that may be the case over in boyd..but not here in alvord. so keep your mouth shut and mind your own business

randy hamilton is a great coach. he coached me for three years. i hated him then cuz i thought he was unfare but now im glad he was that way cuz it has helped me alot and made me learn alot of lessons early in life and im sure he wouldn't expect me to think he's a great coach but he is. and gwen is the person you here on the field wen your losing and the fans have given up but gwen still yelling and cheering and you know atlest one person hasn't given up. ALVORD IS THE PLACE TO BE
