On September 17th, Silver Lining Herbs Owner Mickey Young will be holding a seminar in Decatur, Texas where he will share his herbal, horse and plant knowledge. Individual sessions are available as well, where Mickey will spend time with each horse to personally customize their support programs.
Mickey’s knowledge and experience are rooted in the knowledge passed down from his father. The concept began with Mickey's father, who grew up in close proximity to the Navajo Indians, spent years learning from their knowledge of medicinal herbs. Mickey's father is also a rancher and worked for the Bureau of Land Management for over 20 years as a range rider where he continued to put his knowledge into practice. These teachings were then passed on to Mickey; who has since spent his life nourishing his parent's cattle, and his own performance horses and bulls with herbs. Silver Lining has literally been in the making for years, and now they have made their proven, herbal combinations available to all of those who care about their horses.
