Crazy Ed's truck stop lot has to be one of the dirtiest I have ever seen, you cannot drive in or out without getting dirt on your vehicle. And how about the ridge of dirt on the roadway shoulder that is about 4 inch's high. Gravel Dust all over the roadway which turns to mud when it rains. Seems as the State would make them clean there act up.

The truck stop caused the dust and dirt, the truck stop should have to clean the road. Not the tax payers. The parking lot was pretty nice before the present owners leveled the parking lot.

Hey,JMAN, we've got this place going better than any previous owner ever has. Are you mad because we had to ban you from our store for some reason? We run a very family oriented business and we do alot for our community. Paving the parking lot is our next goal, just need $250,000.00. Can you loan it to us?

Having lived across the road for 25 some odd years, I have NEVER seen a gravel speed bump there. The gravel curb in front of the Movie rental is about 4 inch's high. Also look at your oil rack, my wife bought some BP oil there and the jugs was brown with dust.

Who are you sir? You seem like a fine man to get to know. We have 50 employees that work their tails off for us. We bought the business in bankruptcy..you should have seen it then! Maybe you would have like the morally dirty business then instead of the little dust our parking lot produces...maybe you should come in and have our home cooked hotbar to chear you up!!!!

Thanks for the offer of a hot food bar meal, but I will pass, did that 2 times, and will say no more on that. Now as far as the truck stop it self, YES it is a vast improvement up to a point from what the guy from Nashville left. I also remember how Ed Smith ran the place and how Anderson News ran it as the Monster Mart. I also remember when crazy Ed's started with one little building for a store and the fuel island was a 6 x 6 foot building in the front parking lot. I also remember when they moved the fuel island to the side where it pretty much is now, I also remember when a run away truck ran over the little building nearly killing one man. I also remember when crazy Ed's was over on highway 11 just south of town. I have been in and out of Crazy Ed's since the mid 70's. I remember the days when around 10 trucks filled the lot. Yes you folks have brought it a long way in respect to the building itself. The parking lot I think went down hill, but is much bigger than it was.
