Sick Money: How Mitt Romney's Bain Investments Are Exploding the Deficit and Harming Our Health
I spent many years working in healthcare economics: running health service companies, projecting health plan costs for governments and employers, and analyzing healthcare investments. I've reviewed hospital bills in detail and seen shocking things: Thousands of dollars for bandages and gauze during a surgery; a 12,000-percent markup on ointments; a $250 charge for the light bulb in a projector the hospital claimed was used during surgery. I've seen hucksters put red filters over an ordinary flashlight, call it an "infrared" healing device, and charge insurance companies or hapless patients for their use. And I've seen hundreds of cases of human tragedy brought on by unnecessary surgeries performed solely for money. I can't say I was always on the side of the angels, but I can say this: Before Bain, I had never seen behavior that was as consistently bad as we're seeing today.

TERRANCE HEATH
Rebuild The Middle Class With Jobs For Veterans
There's one thing I forgot to mention in my previous post, "10 Ways to Rebuild the Middle Class": We already know how to rebuild the middle class. We've done it before. One way we built the middle class was to "Give unemployed job seekers a real, fresh start," which is one of the ten steps in the report, "10 Ways To Rebuild The Middle Class For Hardworking Americans." Back then, those unemployed job seekers happened to be in uniform, and America gave them a real fresh start with something called the GI Bill. Today, a chance to give unemployed veterans a real, fresh start is stalled out in the Senate and going nowhere in the House.

10 Ways to Rebuild the Middle Class
The middle class is the great engine of the American economy, but today that engine is sputtering. Our economic crisis is one half of a vicious cycle in which it and the unemployment crisis feed and perpetuate one another, hollowing out the middle-class in the process. We're on an unsustainable course and it's time for U-turn. Offering a way forward, more than a dozen leading national organizations that research the economy, advocate for good jobs and represent workers have come together to propose 10 steps to build the middle-class. The guiding principles of the roadmap are values we all share: that work lies at the center of a robust and sustainable economy; that all work has dignity; and that through work, all of us should be able to support our families, educate our children and enjoy our retirements. After the dust settles from the election, this new guide is something every lawmaker should take seriously as we continue to rebuild the economy.

What a crock of leftist liberal socialist bull crap. If you can't think for yourself, or have a desire to better yourself, and you think the kool aide is tasty then step aside and let the real Americans vote scooter.

Whitehouse new attacks were coming. The democrat left liberal is weak an apologetic to the world.

According to senior diplomatic sources, the US State Department had credible information 48 hours before mobs charged the consulate in Benghazi, and the embassy in Cairo, that American missions may be targeted, but no warnings were given for diplomats to go on high alert and "lockdown", under which movement is severely restricted.

There is growing belief that the attack was in revenge for the killing in a drone strike in Pakistan of Mohammed Hassan Qaed, an al-Qa'ida operative who was, as his nom-de-guerre Abu Yahya al-Libi suggests, from Libya, and timed for the anniversary of the 11 September attacks.

So you're a weak entitlement tit sucking liberal with no since of pride for yourself or country. That means you'll vote for Obama and his apologetic self. The world looks to the USA for guidance which it has not seen the last 4. With the middle east power is respect. The sandbox people do not respect the USA. Whoever the next president is needs to teach them to respect the USA or by god fear it. Sadly Obama isn't capable of either.

We are being attacked. They declared war not us. Obama will retreat and cower, not Romney.

Yemen
The furore across the Middle East over the controversial film about the Prophet Mohamed is now threatening to get out of control. In Sana'a, the Yemeni capital, yesterday around 5,000 demonstrators attacked the US embassy, leaving at least 15 people injured. Young protesters, shouted: "We sacrifice ourselves for you, Messenger of God," smashed windows of the security offices and burned at least five cars, witnesses said.
Egypt
Egypt's Islamist President Mohamed Morsi yesterday condemned the attack in Benghazi that killed the US ambassador. In a speech in Brussels, Mr Morsi said he had spoken to President Obama and condemned "in the clearest terms" the Tuesday attacks. Despite this, and possibly playing to a domestic audience, President Obama said yesterday that "I don't think we would consider them an ally, but we don't consider them an enemy".
Demonstrators in Cairo attacked the mission on Tuesday evening and protests have continued since.
Iraq
Militants said the anti-Islamic film "will put all the American interests Iraq in danger" and called on Muslims everywhere to "face our joint enemy", as protesters in Baghdad burned American flags yesterday. The warning from the Iranian-backed group Asaib Ahl al-Haq came as demonstrators demanded the closure of the US embassy in the capital.
Bangladesh
Islamists warned they may "besiege" the US embassy in Dhaka after security forces stopped around 1,000 protesters marching to the building. The Khelafat Andolon group called for bigger protests as demonstrators threw their fists in the air, burned the flag and chanted anti-US slogans.
Others
There was a Hamas-organised protest in Gaza City, and as many as 100 Arab Israelis took to the streets in Tel Aviv. In Afghanistan, President Hamid Karzai postponed a trip to Norway, fearing violence. Officials in Pakistan said they "expected protests". Protesters in Tunis burnt US flags.

So what are our options? They attacked us. Do we surrender to them? Do we bring our people home from around the world and admit defeat? When they come to our shores do we step aside and give them the country? When they come to your door and take your children and behead them do you let them? Where does it end? There is not a god or allah or messenger. Just weak people searching to be propped up by beliefs in super beings. Why would any benevolent super being allow this much suffering? To test your faith, get a freaking reality check. Humans are one step up the evolutionary ladder from primates and violence comes with it.

EXACTLY. The world looks at the USA and laughs, not for any guidance. You closed minded woman hating fake christian can vote for a MORMON worth millions if you want to. I'm a democrat and bet I am worth 5 times what you are. You can thank George W Bush for the mess we are in and here people like you are too brainwashed to realize that. You don't hate liberals, you are a white man that hates minorities. I suggest you get used to it because the republican party is over after this next election. Now what does who the president is effect you locally? You get this sort of hard on during local elections? You are probably in with the in crowd that makes money from elected people throwing public projects to your friends who hire you. I am a democrat middle class man and have always worked and still work to this very day thanks to BILL CLINTON. Why are the republicans keeping that old drunk George W Bush hidden? Answer that next time you get back in your space suit.

why not you hop on a plane and go half way across the world and YOU fight whoever you want to instead of thumping a bible on topix. Ask the troops do they want to keep fighting for and against people that have fought since the stone age. Then ask everyone if they want to BORROW some more money from China to fund it. Thanks to Bush and the repubs we went over 10 trillion in debt and Obama did what he could absent walking on water to fix the blunder. No wonder Bush can't show his face in public and neither can you, tough guy.

I've already been over there, wasn't impressed. Have kids over there now and for a long time to come. Obama has us over 16 trillion in debt and borrowing more. Blaming Bush went out of style in 2009.
