It doesn't matter if their Black or White. We the middle class tax payers pay for the poor people and they know that, and take advantage of system. They want the Gov't to help them. They need to help themselves. Go get a job and pay your fair share of taxes. This country needs a change, I don't see it with this president. Waiting for 2016 to come.

(Do I need to remind you about the truth setting you free and lies enslaving you?)

The Quote of the Decade:

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising
America's debt
limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US
Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend
on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our
Government's reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America's debt
weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that,
'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of
bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren.
America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans
deserve better."

Love the video about Obamaville!
Welfare has the same drawbacks as socialism. Once everybody realizes that they can get money without working, almost everybody stops working. It's human nature. Only a relatively few amount will actually be working
Welfare is socialism.

Obamacare will increase the long-term federal deficit by $6.2 trillion, according to a Government Accountability Office report that will be released today.

Remember when Obama promied?

“I will not sign a plan that adds one dime to our deficits — either now or in the future,” Obama told a joint-session of Congress in September 2009.“I will not sign it if it adds one dime to the deficit, now or in the future, period.”

And today, Obama blames Republicans for the "sequester stalemate" because they won't offer up the closing of "tax loopholes". The fact is, the Republicans offered up that very thing a long time ago.

Question is was Obama in office when they proposed this? Sure it's easier to say hey we did that before and no avail...

Seriously...am I? Ok "a league of their own" so closing tax loopholes is going to help how? I mean were they suggesting closing the loopholes that don't apply to them or all of them including the ones that apply to them. Seriously...that proposal is simply not enough. If you really want to make a change you should consider this...

12 years only, one of the possible options below.

A. Two Six-year Senate terms
B. Six Two-year House terms
C. One Six-year Senate term and three Two-Year House terms

2. NO TENURE/NO PENSION
A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

3. CONGRESS (past, present & future) PARTICIPATES in SOCIAL SECURITY
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system and Congress participates with the American people.

4. CONGRESS CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN RETIREMENT PLAN
Just like each and every other American.

5. CONGRESS WILL NO LONGER VOTE THEMSELVES a PAY RAISE
Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 2.5%.

6. CONGRESS LOSES THEIR CURRENT HEALTH CARE SYSTEM
Congress will participate in the same health care system as the American people.

7. CONGRESS MUST EQUALLY ABIDE by ALL LAWS
No special exemptions or treatment.

8. ALL CONTRACTS WITH PAST AND PRESENT CONGRESSMEN ARE VOID
Effective 1/1/12.

Think of the money this will save and the problems that it will much more quickly solve! Health care, medicare, social security, IRA and pension plan reform and on and on.

The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves.

Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

This will prove to be more effective than just closing loopholes by themselves.

You're moving the goal posts. What you say here is good stuff, for a wish list. Getting back to Obama, and his relentness desire to raise taxes, spend more, and grow the government. The only things on Obama's agenda are; maintain democratic majority in the Senate, gain democratic majority in the House, ensure the next President is a democrat, raise taxes as high as he can, create a new entitlement in healthcare, and as of the last few days, sell the Oval Office to the highest bidders. He will accomplish this by scaring the daylights out of people that don't know better, and sadly, that has proven to be a majority of American citizens.

Making room for the legal criminals I guess! Or maybe it's so they can do the crimes Americans won't do.

"illegal criminals"?

...as opposed to "legal" criminals, or "illegal" law abiding citizens.

Poor thing is so full of seething, red-faced, foaming-at-the-mouth hatred he can't think straight as he launches into yet another of his blabbering, slobbering attacks on President Obama.

USA Today announces the release of hundreds of illegals yesterday by federal authorities. DD, accused me of hatred by disclosing a fact. I await your apology, DD. The truth shall set you free.

Your comment has nothing to do with the fact. Another fact for you, the truth hurts. Do you have the guts to agree with, or deny, lknots fact?

You all act as if raising taxes is avoidable without doing something more. America needs a financial overhaul and tax loopholes shouldn't be the only consideration at all. There needs to be a major movement of everything simultaneously. EVERY president has sold to the highest bidder. It's not an Obama Romney/McCain issue it's an American issue. We keep allowing schytt to happen. Vote independent to send a message to democrips and rebloodicans alike that we are awake. But as i said more things have to happen than to just close loopholes. Closing a loophole with a percentage of tax layers on the other side isn't ideal.

Loved ones are hard to handle today because they refuse to do what you ask. It's a very trying experience but there doesn't seem to be much you can do about it.
