The police are hush hush and don't seem overly concerned about a perp out there killing people.
The fact that she was found in bed with the covers pulled up points to someone that was familiar with her. Plus, no evidence is noted that indicates a break in, except for the open basement door.
Further, where is this husband? The latest article says that he didn't want to comment so as to not throw off the investigation.
Hubbie did it. Next.....
Sad thing, my wife worked with her and said that she was an outstanding person.
her husband was at work then at the mosque. i dont think you should post things like that when you dont know the people like i do. her husband and her were in love. they were a couple everyone knew would last. so dont even talk like that

Nazzie,
Ever heard of a hitman? If this were a random crime or a burglary gone wrong, the police would be asking for the public's help. It is as if they wanted this to go away.
It was someone close to her...husband (via hit man), daughter, or might have even been a suicide. I dunno. It doesn't make sense but if it was really a stranger on stranger crime, the police are inept.

If there are so many people at the mosque, on the job, and in her neighborhood that admired and loved this woman, why don't you put signs up and pass out flyers to help the bumbling Snellville police find her killer.
A group of her friends and co-workers need to organize a march and go to the police station. Don't forget to call TV news stations and the AJC to cover this and maybe the Snellville police will stop acting as though they are part of the Andy Griffith Show.

Not sure what your problem is with Snellville PD -but I do believe it is Gwinnett PD that is handing the investigation. Yasmeen lived outside the city limits....

At any rate - I don't think talking trash about the police will help the situation. As much as we would all like to see justice - these things can take time to figure out - it doesn't mean they aren't working on it - or that they are "bumbling"

Where is the husband in this? He is never mentioned in any article I've seen. IMHO I think it has something to do with the fact she is Muslim and a woman of prominence in her mosque. A fact is a fact. Moderate or extreme form, a woman is subservient. Was there an affair involved? It has been rumored there is a senator (not sure if state or federal) of stature living in the same neighborhood and therefore they don't want the publicity nor do they want to explore the Islamic angle. We hear about it everyday in the news, why not Snellville too? Perhaps Snellville doesn't want to get into some type of cultural taboo?

suicide? are you crazy or just stupid? how could it have been a suicide if she had her face covered when her daughter found her? her daughter was teaching at a camp and her husband was at work. he is devastated now. you are probably the most insensitive person i have ever known about. a hitman? please stop posting comments like this on this website. you are hurting so many people on here.
