Conservatives in both chambers are already starting to pounce on House Speaker John Boehner's fiscal crisis counter-proposal, in a sign of the political risk the speaker took by calling for $800 billion in new tax revenue -- though that proposal was rebuffed by President Obama.
Tea Party-aligned conservative South Carolina Sen. Jim DeMint said Tuesday that the House Republicans' plan "will destroy American jobs and allow politicians in Washington to spend even more."
On the House side, Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, said Boehner's proposal was "not a good place to start." Meanwhile, conservative think tanks and advocacy groups like the Heritage Foundation voiced similar skepticism.

Rich white people have employed your lazy a$$es for years and gave you an opportunity. Maybe you should start paying taxes....just a thought! Always thinking somebody owes you something, forget the fact rich whitey busted his a$$ to get what he has, and sacrificed to get where he is, lol You people are a joke! Making everyone the same and having some people produce and others not, but still reap the same benefits.....lol....sounds pretty socialist to me...and not very realistic! Get your knuckles off the porch, street corner and try working, paying taxes, and oh yeah stop being dependent on that check evey month. Things would probally get alot better....you think?

The Republican House has done all it can to prevent more of obama's socialist legislation from being passed, and that takes a lot of work. That is why America put them back into power.

The President, cannot even get the Senate to go along with any of his plans, jobs bills, another stimulus package, or budgets. The Senate, in effect, is rendering Obama, obsolete, and they're from the same party. Talk about not working together.

If you think our rational about curbing spending is so wrong when did you realize that America has intrusted its purse strings to the Republicans? All spending bills start in the House or are you not aware of this fact? You and your lib buddies need to study the Constitution before you allow everyone to know how little you know. Bless your little heart.

Actual Federal Welfare is in reality running at about 5.5% of the Federal Budget. We spend more on corporate welfare than we do on human welfare.

The 47% who don't pay taxes:

A great number of them are low-income families who get up and go to work everyday just like everybody else. They DO pay payroll taxes.

The Elderly: People who have contributed to the economy by paying taxes their entire lives.

The ultra-wealthy - 24,000 of the 1% pay no taxes. Many of them do this through investments in tax-exempt bonds.

Students: People who WILL spend their lives paying taxes.

Also, keep in mind that numbers have risen through unemeployment benefits to people who've been displaced during after the economy tanked during - you guessed it - the last republican president america let near the white house. Numbers will go down as Obama's economy continues to improve the country.

However - You all know all that. You just prefer the Boortz version of things rather than the truthful version.

And you can't help it. A study of Republican minds indicates that faced with overwhelming evidence contrary to what they want to believe, republicans just dig their heels and and believe HARDER what they want to be, and ignore the facts.

Ah, you're working on putting out more half-truths that you KNOW are deceptive, I see. There's a real pattern of that with you.

Let's use the budget that you're talking about. That Redneck from Alabama, Jeff Sessions, wanted to put up Obama's Budget Blueprint for a vote to simply embarrass the president, knowing that it would recieve no votes. How did he know it would receive no votes?
Because it was a blue-print with no actual policy attached. It was not INTENDED ever to go to vote. Democrats were already working on different versions.

Can't you actually post something that isn't a half-truth or spin? You'd think you were getting your information from Faux News or Neil Boortz - and you know that stuff is just for entertainment, right? Not for RESPONSIBLE political discussion. The things they say there are not meant to be taken seriously.

You do know that, right?

No need for name calling, but just what other versions of a budget have the Democrats been working on the past four years, let alone vote on?

Obama has created more debt in his first 4 years that all the presidents before him including President Bush. You should read more so you won't look so ignorant. BTW, I didn't agree with the spending of Pres. Bush, but his was a mere pittance compared to obama's fatuous spree. Bless your little heart.

Wow! Are you stupid!! Obama has driven the national debt through the roof in his first four years in office; far more than Bush increased it in all 8 years that he was President. When Clinton left office the national debt was 5.72 Trillion Dollars. When Bush left office it had increased by 4.97 trillion, to 10.69 trillion dollars. As of this moment the national debt of the United States, after only four years of Obama white house occupancy,(that’s four years, not eight years) is 16.37 trillion dollars, an increase of 5.7 trillion dollars; an absolutely staggering amount. The sad thing is that just about everyone knows that, even most democrats. But, for some reason you don’t. Irresponsible fools like you go around telling other fools who are crazy enough to believe you and who also have the right to vote, that when Clinton left office we had no national debt. Those fools then go out and cast their vote for the democrats and “presto”, we’re now looking at another four years of tax and spend government, with the prospect of another 6 or 7 trillion dollar increase in our already crippling national debt. Each taxpayer in America now owes $142,500.00 as his/her share of the national debt. That’s like a mortgage to most people. Our strapped taxpayers can’t afford to pay anything other than the interest on a debt that large, because then we wouldn’t have any money left to pay the day to day cost of running the country, ie: maintaining services, government payrolls, infrastructure costs and welfare payments to those who refuse to work for a living. Of course a fool like you would simply tell those taxpayers,“No problem; simply add another $71,250.00 to your tax remittance over the next two years and the problem is solved.”
You should do some reading on important issues like government debt before you make totally uninformed and ignorant comments wingnut.
