he scares me i actually had him for music class when i was in 1st grade he was always nice to the pretty girls in my class but he was mean to the others.

i had this guy for music too he was nice to everyone except those who were bad in class. i wasnt one of the "pretty girls" and he was nice to me. i was in the 3rd grade when ethan was in the first i remember ethan as not being a good kid maybe he just didn't like school. its tough going to catholic school but dont take it out on a good teacher if u cant cut it

It's sad that people don't believe kids when they say an adult touched them. That's why alot of kids don't tell anyone because they know they will be called liars. Just because a certain adult didn't touch you doesn't mean they didn't touch the next child!!!!!

I tend to agree on some points but you also have to understand, there are many "false" accusations as well. There have been many cases where a child and/or teen has lied to seek revenge. Also, the term "touching" has been blown out of proportion and not entirely explained to many kids. Some adults have been accused of touching an arm, shoulder or any other minor spot which isn't in a sexual nature. Overall, it's a very "touchy" subject and requires careful approach before any serious accusation are thrown about.

you know those schoolgirl days of telling tales and biting nails are gone but in my mind they will live on and on. It’s just that I do not know how to thank a guy who has taken me from crayons to reading books. it’s not easy but i can try. i’m in the eighth grade now and if he wanted the sky i would have written it acrossed the sky in letters that would soar a thousand feet high, thank you with love. the time has come to close those books and when he left i looked at him as a friend not just a teacher. he was a friend who taught me right from wrong, weak from strong and that’s a lot to learn and there is nothing i can give in return. in response to SSM - nice recital from the movie To Sir With Love-Sydney Poirttier. It's hard to trust or put trust in teachers these days - it doesn't matter if they are male or female, both sexes are stepping over the line. Us older ones have to thank God for the good old days, when innocense was around.

Someone said up at the top that Mr.Egged had only been teaching for 5 years, maybe, but he has been substitute teaching for many many years. I know this because he had been my sub a few times and I've been out of school for longer than 5 years.

I dont know if the allegations are true or not. and maybe its a case of " you never really know someone" but I always liked him and his way of teaching. So either way, justice will be served at some point or another.

About the comment written about Mr. Egged and only been teaching for 5 years, i would like to inform u that, that is not true.. I graduated from Annapolis in 2003, and i remember Mr. Egged being a "weird" substitute teacher when i was in middle school at O.W.Best! I have no doubt that he has tried other things in the past, he would always give me and my girlfriends the "creepy" impression everytime we were in that class or even walking down the hall.

I graduated from Annapolis in 2004 and he taught me at madison and O W Best. We thought he was wierd but in a funny way we used to laugh at him when he thought we were laughing with him. But you know we remembered a lot of what he taught us. A guy friend of mine got a silver medal on a science project at the University of Detroit Mercy and he said it was because of things he remembered from this guys class at O W Best. That says something I think.

He was my elemntary school teacher as a sub while my teacher was out its realy creapy to find out that he was accused of touching kids and to think he was teachin little kids 9 years ago... makes u wonder if he was doin anything then to....
