Ok here it goes on April 9th my wife and i went to visit her father in the hospital at Harper. When my wife and i returned it was late so we went to bed and when we woke up in the morning our Cat named Lucky he is a tabby grey mixed with white fine wite colors mostly looks grey with mix of white in him i put him on many websites you can google his name Cat named Lucky dearborn heights and his picture will pop up, so everyday i looked on the internet at all the animal shelters, ebay classified for pets and craigslist too searched the whole neighborhood day after day looking in all the windows of peoples homes cause he likes to lay in the front window so i figured a little girl or boy picked him up and the parents kept him, well i havent' found him so a few days ago it has been raining here in dearborn heights .... just yesterday i came home around 12 noon for lunch my mother in law said Jim go around the house in the back yard and look on the ground so i did someone had shaved my cat and brought his hair to the corner of my house and placed it on the ground in a big pile i examined the hair i was a former military police officer so it was crime scene time i looked that the ground before i touched anything to look for anything that was out of place or for any clues that would help me solve this problem, someone took a hammer where the cat hair was placed on the ground and broke my bottom three sections on my glass block window to the basement, there was no blood on the ground remember it had been raining so the blood would have been washed away i moved leaves to look under them for dry spots of blood evidence nothing there was no body my cats body was missing no skin debris attatched to fur anywhere i collected the hair and brought it into my home then got some hair from my cat he used to lye on my wifes brown coat LOL so it was full of hair i picked out a piece of hair from that coat and then from the sample that i found on the ground and placed them againse a black background so i could see in full detail then switched the background for contrast of black in his hair it was a perfect match.... i went and looked in all the bushed on my block for a cat carcas nothing to be found i then knocked on my neighbors door and explained to her what had happened she said that hair was not there yesterday she was fixing her flowers that were starting to come up on the ground also remember it was raining the hair was completely dry if it was wet it would have been clumped together or matted down it was completely dry it appears that someone either leaned over the fence and dropped it in a big pile or snuck into my back yard and went to the corner of the house and placed it on the ground. Who is sick enough to do this to us that cat was my sons cat and he died 4 years ago so someone either is upset with my other son kids arguing or they wanted to hurt us in some way either way how do you shave a cat you either have to have 3 people to hold it down or maybe he is dead and they shaved him after he was killed either way someone is a sick sadistic person to do this to us, please give me your feed back,

Ty,

Sincerely,

Jim

Oh, this is definately a very twisted individual/s who is responsible for this. They, whoever the h3ll they are have gone above cruel and PLEASE stay on your toes for no one knows how far someone would go after having gone far enough to hurt an innocent cat. If, and I am praying for a miracle here, by some chance Lucky got away from these/this insane individual, you just know he has to be traumatized by this act!
Karma WILL seek them out and you just never know Jim, this is an outrage and a serious crime. Animal cruelty is NO JOKE, SPCA will come down hard on whomever is responsible!! Aside from that I know that Lucky was like a family member, harming no one, and he was especially treasured because he belonged to your son. This has me in tears and I hope for all your sake this gets resolved soon.

Thank you so much Sister P yes i am on my toes this is twisted and i am on guard for something else crazy to happen. I am a former Gulf war veteran so being on guard is nothing new to me, He was very special to us and this is cruel and your right SPCA will drop the hammer on someone I hope and pray that he gets his chance to get outside cause it will be all over he will run quick. Thank You so much SisterP for your comments and advice as well,

Sincerely,

Jim

Lucky's owners contacted me about one of our adoptable kitties hoping it was their kitty. Unfortunately it isn't Lucky. I'm heart broken and outraged to read what happened. nothing makes sence as to why someone would do this. There are sick individuals everywhere though. Cat Tail Kitties Rescue will keep a look out for any cat that fits Lucky's description. I hope you find this sicko. I hope you find Lucky. May God watch over Lucky and guide him towards safety and solice.
Again, I'm so sorry this has happened to your family.

sorry to hear about your cat. That is sick and cruel. Next time you get a cat, don't let it outside. I have a few cats and they don't go out because they can get hurt and there are a lot of cat haters. Besides, it is rude to the neighbors because animals need to relieve themselves and plenty of times I have had a neighbors cat droppings in my yard and spraying my house. I hope nothing is wrong with Lucky and you find him.

Thanks Cat Lover.... Lucky was an inside cat we never let him out he just snuck out when someone went to the door and left like my son's friends so we never let him out on purpose he got out maybe 2 times a year at most my wife and i always watched for him not to sneak outside when we left on the other hand my son's friends didn't do that always and that is how he got out, I hope i find him or get information as to who has him or what has been done with him if anything has.

Jim that is wonderful news! I hope Lucky (aptly named) recovers fully from this. You might think about chipping him, so in case he does get out again, you will be able to find him sooner.
