Why does our city have so many school districts? Each district has their own school board? Their own administrators,buses,and all other services for each district. This might have been a great idea years ago but it makes absolutely no sense during this economic crisis which we face. It is time to consolidate these districts and reduce the excess costs generated by living in the past.Just think how much money could be saved on administrative costs alone and used for improvements to the facilities and improve the education of all of our children.It is time for this city to move into the new century and make the improvements that are long overdue!!!!!
