44 arrested in New Jersey corruption probe

Full story: Chicago Tribune

Reporting from New York - People who live in New Jersey can be forgiven if they initially yawned Thursday morning at the news of another federal sting that swept up a wide range of public officials, including the young mayor of Hoboken, who's been on the job all of three weeks.

Is there ANYONE with any integrity left these days? Will anyone do the right thing for its own sake? Who is left that thinks principles are more important than money. 2012 can't happen soon enough!

All Democrats.

Imagine if they were all or mostly Republicans. The news media would be going berserk and they'd be yelling about hypocrisy. The Today show would have "experts" debating whether this means that ALL Republicans are corrupt.

But since they're Democrats, the story will be killed by the liberals in the media.

Wrong. Not all Democrats. One Republican. But now you know who's picture will be first on the news.

Any the funny part is NJ Governor Jon Corzine had no clue it was going on right under his nose.

All those crooked politicians.....I wonder what Party they belonged to? Since the article doesn't say, I think we know.

Most were Democrats, One republican mayor. It does not matter what party they are, Both parties in NJ are playing the same game. PLAY TO PAY..

Lets not forget the republican candidate for governor is the state prosecutor, and he has been aware of this investigation for 10 years and had plenty of time to warn his buddies what was going on. And now just a few months before election the SH^^ hits the fan on many Democrats..
Coinscidense I THINK NOT...

Come on Illinois, we can do better than that. Those people in NJ don't know what corruption is.

It sounds a little bit like a mayor in a certain large municipality in Illinois.

All politicians are liars and crooks but the Democrats are like organized crime.
