I learned how to drive at an early age... but knowing how to drive and having experience are two different things. I also would have been scared to drive a car on REAL roads at age 13... I knew the brake, the gas pedal, I knew how to shift (I learned on a manual transmission) and push in the clutch.

However, just because I knew how the car runs, doesn't mean I am fit to drive on the road. That is what driver's training is supposed to have you do. Heck, even after I got my license I was still a little nervous on busy roads and highways. It just takes practice and experience. Something this kid didn't have.

And better parenting. heh!

Lobster
You must be a scaried cat
Some kids have taken their parent cars
This could be a case of where a deer jumped in front of the car and the poor kid just lost control
This is just a very sad accident.
Most farm kids drive tractors larger then a car
My Thoughts goes out to the family

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Leo

There's an erratic quality to the day, thanks to the Full Moon in emotional Cancer, combined with a lunar eclipse. Loved ones are likely to behave in ways you hadn't counted on. The only way to cope with this is to be as flexible as possible. Someone might change an arrangement at the eleventh hour so you have to think on your feet, or others may be determined to do their own thing even though it doesn't suit you. Get any arguments out of the way quickly so you can enjoy your New Year's Eve celebrations with a glad heart.
