Feingold listening sessions in La Crosse, Vernon Co. Aug. 1

Sen. Russ Feingold wants to hear from his constituents when he visits La Crosse and Vernon Counties on August 1 . Feingold's La Crosse County listening session is at La Crosse City Hall, 400 La Crosse St.

I sent an e-mail to Senator Feingold and Senator
Kohl. They both acknowleded my e-mail and then
they told me what they were going to do. In short
"my mind is made up so don't confus me with facts"
Ob speaches never say what he will do - just a good speach. He tells us he will save many dollars on Medicare - the government save money with all that graft and lazy employees who is he
tring to kid. If you can't dazzel them with your brilliance then baffel them with your BS.

Gilbert Chick: you got it exactly right. Those town hall gatherings are meant as a photo op...when folks come to them and challenge the politician, it disrupts the photo op...something they don't like, but the average American citizen should love.

Called Kohl's and Feingold's office several times...similar response...essentially they support single payer. Kohl's office refuses to tell me when listening sessions are being held. They say I have to check out local media for announcement of any upcoming meeting. Now isn't that impressive. I say boycott the Bucks this season to show Kohl how impressed we are with him....better yet, vote him OUT!

I always boycott the Bucks...of course I am a Bulls fan (born in the Windy City), so that might color my perspective a tad, wouldn't you say?

OH, where is the next Michael Jordan? He was fun to watch during those 6 championship years...Oh yea!!!
